The official Browns twitter account posted the release of Jason McCourtey before they traded him to New England.

We will likely bring in another QB in free agency/on day 3 to be our practice squad QB. Hopefully we never need to see the 4th QB ever again anyways.

Hogan knows he won’t make the roster so let him and his agent figure out if anyone wants him so they can find a new home before the season starts. This is at least a good PR move by the Browns.

Yeah, but if a team doesn't want to have to overbid for his services on the open market due to the frenzy of suitors then they'll offer a nice trade package.

Banner was on the Herd today and talked about Manziel. Something was said he was fired 3 months before draft. He said last thing that was read/spoken about Manziel was that on game day he is all in but the other 6 days he is not there. So the Brown's knew what they were getting and thought they could change him or didn't care.
