Rudolph or Dobbs could develop behind an elite OL and skill players.

They dominated the north/central in the 90s and early 2000s before Ben got there. Made the conference championship 4 times in that time frame. Made the SB in 95. They really haven't much of a playoff drought since the 70s.

It would take some 70's/10's era Browns-esque drafting, and for the Rooneys to sell the team to someone else.

Neither of which I see happening.

Beating them I think would help but they'll never be eliminated from the conversation of being a playoff team in this division.

There's ways of doing it. Get a passing oriented team, a QB with ice in his vains, and a set of receivers would be the way of doing it. The "3 yards and a cloud of dust' mindset this team has been using has been incredibly stupid.

It's interesting. If there was ever a dude who doesnt need to be there from day one, its Gordon. Makes sense to take extra time if you need it.

Something not many are mentioning but is it possible his agent, front office, coaches, etc. don't want him there for Hard Knocks? I could see them wanting him to retain focus and not get lost in an HBO spectacle...
