2018 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm really of the belief that the NFL needs to take over and "save" this team.

The NBA did as such with the Cavs under circumstances that were not as bad. That's the level of bad we're talking about.

It's way easier to save a franchise in basketball. It can literally take only one pick sometimes.

Hell, even the Cavs management was so awful at one point that the league had to step in (Steipen Rule).

If by "saving" them you mean moving the team again, you're probably right.

The need to save it by getting rid of them. Would anyone honestly care if the Browns were gone? At this point, Cleveland is a great up and coming city with a ton of positives. They main negative is the Browns, we need to drop them.

It a slow rebuild model, gentlemen. They made a move for Osweiler and a second rounder instead of a beige QB, then started the QB who could only legally drink during last offseason. Garrett was the preseason pick for D-ROY, and he won't play until next weekend at the earliest. Their most developed receiver broke his hand unexpectedly. If you don't have the stomach for a long rebuild, this isn't going to be easy for you... but the payoff comes one or two years from now.

Can you take this horseshit to the rant thread, for the love of God?

No?

This is the 2018 prospect thread, not the feel bad for yourself thread. Unless you have something on 2018 draft prospects, stop posting your bullshit about moving the Browns.

I don't feel bad at all, I couldn't care less about the Browns at this point. And I was responding to someone who was talking about the NFL intervening because the team is so bad. That has absolutely nothing to do with 2018 prospects either, where was your outrage then?

How is the QB class looking so far?

Asking for a friend.

You bring up some important reoccurring media traps, but Fournette is a big part of why the Jags offense has improved this offseason. A game-changer at running back has become underrated at this point, even if the media's hyperbole is laughable.

You forgot the lowest 40 yard dash times suddenly becoming first rounders, offensive linemen with no experience run blocking having "great knee bend" and stories about a bad breakup with a sophomore girlfriend becoming possible future charges of sexual assault.

I see @The Wizard of Moz's argument, however the past few years have seen hyped RBs entering the league that changed the fortunes of their offenses.

Fournette this year, possibly McCaffrey if they ever choose to just give him the keys, Elliot last year, Gurely the year before.

They are all exceptional talents. What exactly is the argument against drafting them in the top ten?

If things keep headed in this direction, we may indeed have a different front office selecting these players in April.
Today was the first time I really started doubting these guys. I've been patient up until this point, I think rightfully so. The franchise regressed today.

Even with that said, I still think this is the most competent FO/coaching staff we've had in some time, and I think I'm in favor of giving them a 3rd year for the sake of continuity and potential, barring another 1-15 season. You can still point to youth and holes from the rebuild as being issues. I don't think there is any excuse if you aren't at minimum a 6-10, 7-9 win team in year 3.

Yeah....Collins, Garrett, Shelton, and Coleman out on a team that lacks experience, talent, and depth really makes things more difficult than they already are.

Darnold looks like he may go back to school.

Rosen looks highly unpolished *sound familiar?*

Rudolph has a very low ceiling

Jackson looks pretty good.

Josh Allen may not be draftable.

So, pretty bad.

They missed Jamie Collins soooo bad today.

ESPN called it "the year of the quarterback" 2 weeks ago though
