2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ostekowski is nice.

Bamba controlling the boards. sticks to Wendell Carter, but i'd like him to try to use his length to help against short curls inside the 3pt line without completely leaving his man. Right now he just sticks to his man and allowing wide open mid range shots.

Texas with terrible guard play. Could have gone very far with a good lead guard.

Bamba is a banger. Despite being skinny he clearly likes to bang. Moved Bolden and Carter on post ups and off the dribble.

On that last block, I was thinking to myself that Bamba should rotate over to the guard on that drive so he could contest the shot. He stuck with his man and then closed the distance from 3 point line to wing with two steps and easily swatted it out of bounds. The distance he can close on defense is incredible.

Thought the same thing. Still think he should have done that. I also think that he isn't using his length to full advantage... stays with his man far too much.

Can only watch the first half because I'm going to the Cavs game lol... Can't believe how easily Bamba moved Bagley on the post up the first Texas possession of the game, not sure if anyone else saw that.

Trying to evaluate Bagley is so annoying. It's rough as is judging college bigs, because they rarely play against NBA length, but Bagley is always playing the 4.

This white guy is actually outplaying Bagley IMO, other than inside of 3 feet on offense where he gives up so much size.

Carter continues to impress me. And Duval is doing Duval things in transition.

Dont think I want either Bagley or Bomba

Bamba moved both Bagley and Carter. Crazy shit.

BAgley looks better offensively, but he being matched up against Osetkowvski who's a good defender, but isn't a great matchup on paper against Bagley.

Defensively Bagley is just bad. We will never be able to evaluate him on that end though becasue everytime duke struggles defensively Coach K just switches to zone for ever and ever. No wonder Dukes bust so much.

Hopefully Osetkowski killing the Duke zone will force them to go back to some man to man.

Holy shit what a dunk.

I wonder what the defensive numbers were with Bamba on/off the court. It seemed like every paint shot Duke took that half with Bamba in was either rushed or at a really high angle even if he wasn't swatting it.

Bamba looks like Noel in an alternate universe where Noel actually committed to playing within the flow of the game.
