2018 NBA Draft - June 21

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why is Bamba on Bagley in the 2nd half? he can't help at all against penetration if he is on Bagley.

Needs to stay on Carter.

If Bamba played as hard as Bagley, he'd be the no-doubt #1 pick in this draft. Specially with 4 fouls, there's been way too much standing around in the paint on both ends.

Bamba can't defend with 4 fouls. Especially since the refs call weird ass fouls on Texas.

On offense he isn't involved at all.

Not watching the game anymore, but the first half officiating reminded me how awful college refs are.

Twitter saying Bamba fifth foul was a bad call and shoulda been offensive?

This game is Dukes to lose. Bamba is out and Sims has 4 fouls. This should be over.

Bagley... holy shit. Duke is totally misusing him, and he put up 30-10 anyway. The free throw stroke looked good too, so I'm not concerned long term. This guy is going to thrive offensively in the NBA. Defensively, there's a lot to work on, but the tools are there.

Really impressed with Bagley today. He can't shoot, but he does everything else really well. So many of his points are because he works so damn hard, always putting himself in position to catch the pass and score. Even most of his mistakes on defense (he gambles way too much) are a result of inexperience and being overeager rather than a lack of effort. The game isn't too fast for him and he makes the right decision on when to shoot and/or pass, he isn't a black hole at all. If he becomes an above average shooter in the future, he'll be a top scorer on offense.

Bamba showed flashes, but he needs to play harder all the time. He had a nice stretch when Duke was playing zone in the first half where he would flash to the top of the key and aggressively make a move when he got the ball. Once he had 4 fouls, he would just put his hands up and not contest on defense and half-heartedly call for the ball in the post on offense. Added to which he took a horrible 3 down the stretch.

Not impressed with Carter at all as an NBA prospect. He was awful defending in pick and roll situations, and I don't think he'll ever be good at it given his limitations.

Carter is done for me. outside of the lottery.

Can't move his feet on the perimeter and his rim protection is questionable at the next level.

Never really got the love with him. He's an under 7 foot post scorer with slowish feet and he's not a vertical athlete. There was a big role for guys like that 10-20 years ago, not so much nowadays. No matter how good he is offensively, there are going to be teams that will play him off the floor.

Ayton seriously has ADD. Oe of the worst defensive awareness i've ever seen, probably the worst. He just finds himself guarding no one at times. Just complete mind fuck.
