Sexton can play on my team any day. I get a ton of Fox vibes with him in terms of how hard they play and how much they want to destroy the guy across from them. Seems like an awesome guy to have on the court, I can't remember the last player the Cavs have had like that.

I thought he would be the guy to crack the top 5 before the season started and he is on his way to working his way into that top 5 range tonight.

Looking at the play-by-play, he scored 17 points in the last 10:50 of the game, which was when Alabama was playing (literally) 3-on-5. Alabama actually outscored Minny 30-24 during that time. He played the entire 2nd half and scored 29 points in the half.

Thats insane, I'd love to see a replay of this game if anyone hears of it being rebroadcast please post station and time.
 
I started watching the game just prior to everything happening.

Everybody in the gym knew that Sexton was going to shoot the ball. They were trapping him as he crossed half court, yet still hit multiple pull up 3's. And that's supposed to be one of his main weaknesses is shooting.

And he beat 2-3 guys to the rim as he normally does as well - including one in particular fast break where he drove by about 4 defenders. Insane
 
I'm starting to get super excited about this pick. It sounds like there are 6 guys (If you include Porter) so far that have amazing potential.

Ayton is a physical freak. Bagley showing flashes of KG type shit. Bamba's defensive potential is insane. Sexton sounds like an absolute bulldog ala Delly/Pat Beverly but with all star potential. I can't recall a perimeter foreign player getting more hype than Doncic. Then throw in Porter who was considered the best of the bunch by a lot of people (shame he got hurt).

But holy shit. I will be watching every Nets game like it's the Cavs playing Boston in the ECF.
 
Just watched now...Sexton's willingness to hustle on both ends was almost as amazing as his shot making. I've rarely seen a guy playing that exhausted in any sport, and he was still diving on the floor for every loose ball.
