2018 Trade Deadline

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don't doubt we are calling San Fran up right now seeing what they would take for him.

Absolutely. Cutch would be a nice get for sure. If not Cutch hopefully Adam Jones but who knows? I know Jones turned down going to Philly and one other team, but that was because he would not be starting for either of those teams.

He isn't going anywhere to be honest. He is finishing the season in Baltimore then if he goes elsewhere its on his terms at the end of the day. I really doubt he changes his mind now.

Been in on Cutch for awhile now. I just feel he fits this team so well on defense and offense. The Tribe could use what he brings to the table near the bottom part of the lineup, which is where I see him hitting.

Hopefully it gets done.. Makes too much sense not to get done, actually.

Not so sure about the Josh Donaldson stuff. I would clearly take him.. But the injury concerns me, plus the Tribe would have to move the infield around a little. Wonder if they go for that, especially since you'd be asking your MVP to basically move from his position... Which I know Jose would be fine with it, but that's beside the point I guess.

So Donaldson and Cutch are the two guys we are going after. Would Bryce Harper seriously be dealt before the 31st? Wonder where that percentage is at.

Murphy has been hitting tremendously since the start of July: .336 / .379 / .514

Doesn't walk a whole lot but doesn't strike out much either. Probably the worst defensive 2B in baseball.

Consider me intrigued. Doubt he made it all the way to the Indians though.

Indians have the #1 choice dont they?

He would go through the entire NL as well as every non-AL contender before the Indians would have a chance to claim him. I believe we have waiver priority over every AL playoff contender (BOS, NYY, SEA, OAK) because we had a worse record than each at the All Star Break.

That's correct like you stated since the Indians record isn't as good as the other contending teams. Hopefully they can get him?

I would LOVE for the Indians to pick up Cutch. He's lost a step and past his prime at this point in his career, but can still be productive. Even when playing at his best he was an even better leader/locker room guy and off-the-field presence. He's a real class act. I loved watching him in Pittsburgh.
