2019 Cavs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Damn what the hell are the Bucks even doing? They are blowing it.

Bledsoe, I'm afraid is a never was. He isn't going to make that jump. Rozier outplayed him.

I think LeBron wanted Bledsoe last season. I assume the Bucks will just roll with Brogden going forward and want to spread out their salaries better since they have alot of capable PGs.

Bledsoe would probably be cheaper than Kemba. I could see Budenholzer wanting Korver and maybe another piece. I wish we could get a draft pick to throw in.

I actually could see a 3 way trade occuring with Atlanta being the 3rd team. Something like we take on Bazemore, Delly, and Bledsoe. Bucks get Schroeder and Korver. Atlanta get expirings and a pick from the Bucks.

JR/Clarkson for Bledsoe/Delly.

Hill/Korver/Sexton for Demar DeRozan.

Resign Hood and Green.

PG: Bledsoe/Delly
SG: Derozan/Hood
SF: Lebron/Cedi
PF: Love/Green
C: Nance/TT/Zizic

I'm not a fan of DeRozan, not sure if I'd give up Sexton for him.

I actually think the most logical trade for Bledsoe is a 3 way with Atlanta. Bazemore going to the Bucks, we get Bledsoe, and Atlanta gets JR or Clarkson. They could buy out JR immediately or if they want a player to build up they can take Clarkson.

Is Bledsoe really that much better than a rotation of Hill/Sexton/Clarkson?
It's weird how people are so focussed on getting guys Lebron said he liked years ago.

Getting Delly is pointless if Lue is still here.

It might not be that much better but we need to at least add a guy Lebron wants to play with. Just like the Melo trade I suggested in the LeBron thread, getting Bledsoe without any real assets buys Koby time to make this team better. I don't believe LeBron is willing to come back to this current roster. Bledsoe, Melo, or possibly Kemba are trades we can do without giving up Sexton, Love, or any other good assets. We need to save those assets for a trade that actually pushes us to the next level.

I really hope Lebron commits long term and helps develop these young guys. I’ve really come around on Sexton and believe he could have an immediate impact. 18 pts 5-7 ast per game impact with above average def.

Sexton
Hood
Lebron
Love
Zizic

JC
Korver/Jr
Cedi
Nance/Preston
TT

Convince a guy like Reddick to sign for the mid level with a chance to win. If Sexton, Cedi and Zizic can develop during the season they’re right back in the eastern finals with Boston.

18 PPG? I'll be ecstatic if he averages 12.

What do you get for him a 2nd round pick? Cash? I would do either I guess. Maybe he has more value to us to help Sexton
I think it depends. I think you could get a 2nd or a couple of 2nds if he's going to a team with cap space. If he's part of a deal where the Cavs take back some salary that is guaranteed beyond next season then the price could be more.

The Sixers have cap space and have a lot of 2nd rounders in addition to their own. Getting Sacramento's 2nd rounder from the Sixers wouldn't be a bad price, though the Sixers would likely prefer to send their own pick.

So there's a chance to get Delly back?!

Given that his main skill is his elite ability to score, it'd be pretty damned disappointing if he only averages 12 PPG this year.

You realize he’s a rookie and definitely not the #1 scoring option right? LeBron as a rookie was the best player on his team and averaged 20 ppg, and you’d be disappointed with Sexton averaging 12? You’re gonna be disappointed my friend.

Only 7 rookies averaged more than 12 ppg last year.

Sexton might struggle at the rim at first. He threw some garbage out there at times and was bailed out at times.

He doesn't have great length to finish over the trees, so he is going to need to find ways to be more creative and find good angles. Needs to be less erratic at the rim.

I really really hope his FT rate will translate however. This is the big question.
