2019 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I remember you saying he was “literally Russell Wilson” and people making fun of you.

But no, I don’t remember anyone saying he’d never sniff Russell Wilson.

Even if you did, the difference with DK (As you have pointed out) his agility numbers are so bad it will limit him, and WR is a position where athletics matter. Personally I would be terrified to draft him.

His statistical production and athletic profile is nowhere near either of those guys.

We've seen this dude before. He's basically Jon Baldwin coming out of Pitt. The fact that Ole Miss preferred to go to AJ Brown over DK tells me a lot. The fact that DK tested poorly in lateral agility tells me a lot.

He could be an incredible deep threat. I wouldn't expect much in the short to intermediate game, though. And despite all their other talents, Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss were both very good in their agility. Julio Jones had freakish agility, and AJ Green had great agility for his size.

DK simply doesn't have those gifts.

Megatron didn't do the agility testing at the combine.

He did the 20 yard short shuttle

Not according to Wikipedia? With a cursory google search I haven't been able to find his results either.

I'd just like to clarify that I don't necessarily think that Metcalf will turn into Megatron 2.0, He doesn't have the hands for that and most likely not the instincts either, but I don't really buy that his agility testing will be what holds him back. When you're that big you're generally not gonna test well in that regard, and you don't really need to. Like Megatron he's not going to be running a very diverse route tree and I don't think he has to in order to be effective. Does that necessitate a QB that can get him the ball on those passes? Of course. I just don't think that makes him less of a deep threat.

More importantly, how did Colinsworth cut his forearm up so damn bad?

Okay 3.5 weeks away. Who are the favorite most realtistic targets at 49 and 80? Saftey, corner and lb seem to be three areas to look at.

My list for 49
49 Thornhill, Rapp, Savage, Layne , Love, Baker

80 Cashman, ( best available o tackle still on the board) I wonder with the injury if a guy like Cajuste is still there

Thoughts on 49 and 80? Those are the picks that have the best chance of actually getting playing time next year.

I pray that CGJ somehow falls to 49, but I have a hard time seeing it.
