2019 NBA Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Barrett just like Wiggins does not have a fluid game at all. Just like Wiggins he can't shoot. He's an athletic player like Wiggins but both are guys who's game gets held back because it's not very fluid. I don't see an element in his game that jumps out at me and makes me think he can dominate at the next level just like with Wiggins.

Hmm, not what I see at all.

If anything, I would say Barrett is very fluid, but not a great athlete.

Jumper is definitely streaky though. We'll have to see how his season goes in that regard.

All the top programs are dropping money. Small things matter. These top guys only care about being a college star and getting their NBA money, if they think Coach K is going to play hard ball with them they'll gladly go play for Self, or Cal, or Miller, or any of the other top tier programs.

It's shitty for Coach K, I feel bad for him, but it's the price you have to pay if you want those top guys year in and year out.

LMAO... What???

Barrett is a way better ball handler and passer than Wiggins. He's also a great defender with the potential to be an elite wing defender.

They aren't really anything alike besides similar builds. It's like saying Zion is similar to Anthony Bennett.

LMAO... What???

He's miserable coaching these guys, I know that for a fact. But he loves winning and this is the path. He'll retire soon though, it's wearing on him.

RJ Barrett doesn't have an elite element to his game to me. I've learned my lesson over the years that guys who come into the league with games that robotic and stiff don't usually shake that throughout their careers.

Most fluid athlete is Reddish. I do agree that Barrett is somewhat robotic.

Zion is a 5 in the same sense that Draymond Green is. Not from a defensive perspective but you have to play him at the 5 in order to gain an advantage. His defensive instincts aren't developed enough to guard 4's but he should be alight at the 5 in today's NBA.

He's new school Shawn Kemp mixed with Larry Johnson. His shooting isn't there but he knows how to play to his strengths and advantages like they did. he doesn't get himself into trouble a lot. He knows what he is.

He is 6'5. He is a 4.. Don't see him palying the 5 full time, at all.

Why can't he gain an advantage at the 4? why can't he play the 3 in spurts?

Heck, why can't he play the 1?

Reddish is the best of the trio and that gap is gonna get larger as the season goes on. Partly because he has the best handle, is the better shooter, and his game is the smoothest. His size makes him dangerous as a SG at the next level. I would love the idea of having him and Cedi on the wings. I also think he's by far the best player in the top 5 to play with Sexton. His game offers great balance with what we have in Sexton and Cedi.

I think Reddish will have the easiest time scoring at the next level.

Sexton/Reddish/Cedi

He doesn't have the discipline yet defensively to play the 4. He has the size and strength to play the 5. he can overpower guys as a 4 but on the defensive end you don't want him out on the perimeter guarding 4's.

I really wouldn't say he is the best of the trio. I think he is the most complete and fits the team the best.

I think Zion will have a field day at the next level. I think he will be a bully playmaker at the next level.

Why not? Love can guard 4's; why can't Zion? what's so tough about guarding 4's? He has the lateral quickness and athletic ability to do all of that. It's not that tough.

It's not his athletic skills. It's his discipline. Maybe Coach K can coach some defensive skills up with him but he hasn't been doing that with any of the recent one and done players the last few years. If Zion has a weakness right now it's getting him in space on defense.

He's the best because he's further developed in major areas like shooting and ball handling. He's also the best passer. They are all good athletes but Reddish is best at channeling his abilities. Zion is just overpowering guys. He will still do that in the league but he won't look as dominant. Especially when teams force him to create. Reddish is a better creator and decision maker than Zion and Barrett.

Barrett seems very derozen like to me. I don't think he will ever have a quick trigger jumper but he will smooth it out some as he grows into his frame. I like his playmaking potential and the way he seems to get results without seeming to have to work too hard. I love Zion because I grew up idolising Larry johnson. For me his ceiling is dependent on his handle. Watching Blake Griffin handle the ball and pass gives me an outline for how Zion fits in the league. Reddish has the stroke and great length of anything he makes it look too easy. It's a shame we have then all on the same team and can't see how they would do against each other
