2019 RCF NFL Mock Draft - Commentary

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not sure you should be throwing these stones, my dude. You took Polite in the first round.

guy I am not throwing stones. it is an opinion nothing else. I don't know who even drafted the guys. argue back with numbers/facts/opinion/anything. I was just trying to start a discussion. You took the time to look up who I picked and then didn't back up ur opinion with anything.

I actually remembered off the top of my head. Because I remember thinking it was kinda crazy that someone took Polite in the 1st.

You want to start a discussion? Fair enough, let's discuss.

Gary's tape is trash. Yes his combine numbers are unbelievable. If he couldn't put up numbers in college for a NFL coach how is he going to do it in the NFL. I think he ends up a DT not a DE.

Absolutely agree. Someone is going to take him thinking he's an edge guy, but he's a 3T. It's unfortunate that he went and had an unreal combine, because now he will be miscast. Just like Solomon Thomas.

(Also, Nick Bosa's numbers aren't much better, but his tape when he was on the field is pretty awesome. Top 5 pick and I think Arizona is smart not to take him at the 1.01)

Metcalf film looks ok, unbelievable physical specimen and some of his combine looks awesome but then u notice he cant move east and west. With 8th pick I want a Green or OBJ not a guy who only can go straight down the field.

As we have noted in a different thread, I am in total agreement with this one as well.

Oliver's athletic ability is beyond rare but he plays at 270 and has poor length. Can he put on 20/30 lbs, can he take the beatings at 270, is he really a DE or MLB, or can he stay healthy being that small??

Well, he's 281 and ran like a WR. No one questions if Aaron Donald can take a beating inside, I have none that Oliver can take the beating. He's a freak of an athlete who plays with good pad level and strong hands. In order for him to take a beating, the offensive line will have to lay hands on him first, which is very difficult.

Bush looks like a smaller Darron Lee with a little more speed. Lee was drafted 20th and really hasn't set the world on fire.

I'm not a fan of taking a Linebacker in the 1st unless he's a physical and instinctive freak. LVE is the type of guy who I would take. That being said, Bush is very good and I'm willing to bet he's a better LB'er than Devin White by a good margin.

On Gary--great comparison with S. Thomas. I think his career mirrors S. Richardson. Starts out on the edge and ends up at the 3.

Oliver--is his 280 weight combine weight or playing weight? I think its combine like Murray at 208lb. 20 years ago u stick this guy at MLB and watch him kill people. LOL

Bush--and really White. Last year Smith went 8th overall and about everyone agrees Bush and White are not Smith.

Well I got my pick all ready to go! Hopefully I can choose when I am not at work lol

Oliver was 281 at his pro day and put up those athletic numbers, so I'm fairly confident he will be in that area.

I’m a big Samia guy. He’s so smart and technically sound on the field. He stays very low for a tall guard. Not to mention nasty. The dude was ejected from the WVU for throwing a punch as a freshman when he was baited by repeated dirty play—which you don’t like seeing a guy lose his cool like that.

I took him for Tennessee, but if the Browns do believe that Corbett is the long term answer at center, I wouldn’t mind Dru being a Brown one bit.

anyone have a TE they want to trade for draft picks??

@Ohio gets bonus points for drafting a third round defensive end hours before the Ogbah trade was announced. Well played sir!

My guess is they want a complimentary back to go along with Bell it seems. Maybe they need more weapons around your QB?

Crowded, Bell and my man Miles Boykin should be more than enough at this point...

Not sure why you’d sign Bell to that massive contract if you plan on spelling him with a primary pass catching back when that is one of his best attributes...

Then again... it’s the damn Jets
