I (usually) like to watch the games but I don't follow the team closely for recruiting and such. What do folks think we'll look like this season? Chance at the dance?

If they tailspin again OSU will be looking for a new basketball coach.

Gene Smith giving him that extension was awful. He's not a good coach.

yeah... The cycle repeats itself. I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but doubt is screaming in our faces. He would need to to make a final four run and probably making the championship game to think otherwise.

Yea this was a guy who screamed bad hire at the time it was made. Like they didn't even look around to find someone with a bit of a beefier resume.

I get we aren't a basketball school but...it needs to be better than this. Season still has a long way to go, but this feels like a solid 10 game losing streak is upon us again.

Watched bits and pieces of a few games. They don't seem to be worth watching.

Big difference this year vs last is I Think this team has real talent on it. It's young. So they should be given time to grow. But the problem for Holtman is this is coming off the heels of one of the worst Buckeye seasons in a good long while.

You also worry about guys like Thornton leaving if he gets fired. And he probably will leave.

But I'm not sure you can let that stop you if they don't turn it around. Program might need rebuilt from the ground up.

Looks like Bjork's first big move as AD will be firing Holtmann.

At this point I wouldn't even worry about players transferring now.

Whole program just needs a reboot from the ground up.

Honestly, fuck Gene Smith for that contract extension. What an awful decision that's really hurting the program right now.
