I read the article. I don't really put much weight in it, because a lot of the numbers Lloyd is referencing was from when Garland and Allen missed big chunks of the season and were playing their way up to speed, just like Mitchell is doing right now.

We need a LOT bigger of a sample size.

We dont need ball handlers we need spacers and I think you underestimate Bates passing rebounding and defense. He also is good at blocking shots,

I do underestimate his passing ability- considering he rarely passes
