Why did the starters stay in the game? What was that about?

He was so assertive with his decisions; not pounding the basketball….one of his best games , period.

He is starting to come on, Evan is learning to take that 15 footer within the flow of the offense. 3 point is just out of range for now although he made one with a nice looking shot, so its cominng. His rebounding really is noticeably better too.

The Cavs should get to play Washington, Charlotte, and Chicago now instead of the play in.

Only fair for being 3-1

17 and 17 with 4 blocks for my man Evan so far....hell of a game

He was an absolute star tonight. Those numbers say it all defensively, but offensively, I felt he was in control every time he touched the ball. His 1 assist tonight does not at all reflect how poised and smart he was on that end. (His 8-11 from the field does reflect it to a degree…)

Cavs in their head thought they needed to Jack threes at the end and instead just needed easy buckets to make a bigger difference. Coaching???

His shooting is looking alot better at the top of the key/freethrow line than the corners/baseline. His work is showing and new shooters tend to shoot better at a straighter line of sight with the backboard as a target rather than the corners. His offensivepotential is more promising as the season progresses. Loving the confidence of letting it fly.

Our guys knew the game was over. No one wants to take it to the hole and get knocked around for no reason, so they just started jacking 3’s.

Didnt make it to the play-in but that was a really fun game all around. Everyone was playing in the flow of the offense. Strong defensive performance from our guys. At least one memorable block from Allen, Okoro and Strus and like 4 from Evan. That was just an all around fun win. The only thing i can complain about is JBB continuing to run a 3 man bench

Individual stats, and they're delicious:

Starters:
Strus 11-3-7 with 2 steals and 2 blocks in 36 minutes
Mobley 17-19-1 with 6 big blocks in 34 minutes Super-de-duper!
Allen 11-8-2 with a block in 30 minutes
Mitchell 40-11-5 with 3 steals and 1 block in 35 minutes Monster game 14-25 fg
Garland 19-2-8 with 2 steals in 37 minutes

Bench: 30-12-4 in 30 minutes
LeVert 10-3-1 with a steal in 30 minutes
Niang 12-7-1 in 19 minutes
Okoro 6-2-2 with 2 blocks in 16 minutes. A very Okoro game. Welcome back!
Porter 2-0-0 in 3 minutes
