Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This should seal the deal. This guy is so in over his head in so many ways
Porter has proven he can play. Let him help manage garlands and dm’s minutes

I missed the game, but I enjoyed the highlights. Now I'll go through the comments on the board. There were a lot of runs. I expect to see at least one call for JBB's firing.

No more Minivan, now it's the G-Wagon.

No way is Niang a G-Wagon. He has that YMCA broken down game. He is a Chrysler Town and Country, beat up old minivan. But he will get you there, might not always look pretty, but he will carry the entire rotaion of 8 and look ugly the entire time.

Would you rather cary only 5 but look pretty or cary 8-10 and look ugly? Give me the minivan, rather everyone get there than a few get there in style.

Niang aka the station wagon

I am thinking we would get more from KDiop than from Jones..

I highly doubt that. The most popular player is the backup qb...in basketball its the Foreign guy playing over seas. But no wa KDiop is better than Jones....not saying Jones is good, but we romanticize these guys.

JJ, if Garland picks up a 3rd foul with 6 mins left in the first quarter, who should probably be subbed in for him? (Ignore that he never should have been left in to get that foul to begin with)

Diop is a really good rebounder. That usually translates. I doubt he is much of a scorer, but he is physical. Jones isnt physical despite his size

Individual stats:

Starters
Strus 11-7-1 with a steal in 34 minutes. He was useful, even not shooting well.
Wade 5-6-0 with 3 steals in 25 minutes. Way bigger impact than the stats say. He suffocated Jimmy Buckets
Allen 6-9-1 with a steal in 25 minutes. Productive in short minutes
Mitchell 27-13-6- with a steal in 36 minutes. A typical Donovan game, except he set a career high in rebounds.
Garland 18-2-6 with 4 steals in 26 minutes. Very productive, but short minutes due to fouls.

Bench:
Okoro 9-1-0 with a steal and a block in 22 minutes. 75% fg Nice.
Merrill 9-3-1 in 10 minutes. 60% fg, 3-5 from 3. Outplayed Okoro in less than half the minutes.
Niang 13-3-2 in 20 minutes. 55.6% fg
Jones 0-1-0 in 3 minutes
Porter 8-3-4 with 2 steals and a block in 22 minutes.
Thompson 5-3-0 in 16 minutes. Like Wade, his influence is greater than his stats.

I'm a big Jarrett Allen guy. But he was terrible last night. Fortunately, no one else was, other than Damian Jones for 3 minutes.
