He may have had the talent, but he missed the window for maximizing it.

He's still just 24. I don't think he has the talent to ever be a defensive force, but he's going to continue to be a one man offense. This Mavs roster is absolutely terrible, and has been his whole career, and he routinely drags them further than he should. Sounds like someone we saw a lot of when he was younger....

Luka is not going to be a champion with the Mavs because they've bungled the entire thing and are out of meaningful assets. The parallels are uncanny between what they did with finding a 'second star' and what the Cavs did for young LeBron.

I expect to see Luka in the Finals for another team in a few years.

Based on the fact Luka and Josh Green are playing, I'd say we have a 40% chance of winning. Same formula to win: great defense, share the ball on offense giving Allen at least 15 shots in the game, don't turn the ball over, win the rebounding battle.
