Big trap energy
Big trap energy
I see them as underdogs (say by more than 2 or 3 points, several should be close to "pick 'em") in only 3 of the 15 games: at ORL and two at Milwaukee. You gotta be a big time pessimist to come out of that with a 6-9 or 5-10 prediction, especially with how well they've been playing.
We will be favored against Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, San Antonio, Washington, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Chicago. Toronto is 3-7 in their last 10 and now they're trading Siakam. Sacramento will be playing their 7th straight road game against us before heading home. That's nine very winnable games. There are 15 games until the All-Star Break and this is a super tough stretch but i think they definitely can get at least 8 wins here...

Cavs have 30 minutes to impress me before I head on over to my true love; TPIR.
Mitchell quietly putting up MVP numbers again.
Edit: MVP type numbers. Obviously Embiid, SGA, Jokic, and Giannis are in a class by themselves.
Without Giannis, add 10% to all the probabilities I gave.We will be favored against Atlanta, Detroit, Memphis, San Antonio, Washington, Brooklyn, Toronto, and Chicago. Toronto is 3-7 in their last 10 and now they're trading Siakam. Sacramento will be playing their 7th straight road game against us before heading home. That's nine very winnable games.
We get Milwaukee at home tonight without Giannis. That makes 10. I'm not saying we'll win them all, but we should win at least eight. If Garland returns around Feb. 1 so much the better.
The tough ones will be the two in Milwaukee, Orlando on the road, and the Clippers and Sixers at home. We should have Garland for the Philly game.
Reason 1,000,000 on why not to take ESPN namely Stephen A Smith seriously.
When asked to pick tonight’s game he said: “Cleveland because no Giannis. You talk about Donovan Mitchell averaging 28ppg, you talk about Darius Garland averaging 20.”
Damn shame he can’t do 5 minutes of prep before the featured game he’s supposed to be previewing.
