I think Texas and Florida State win out.
So the CFP would have the SEC champ, B1G champ, FSU and then either Texas or the P12 champ. The PAC could have an undefeated Washington or they could have no 0 or 1 loss teams and neither would surprise me.
A big potential wrench is Alabama winning out. I assume 12-1 non champ Georgia makes it….but not if Washington, FSU, Texas and the B1G champ all win out.
Like 12-1 Georgia isn’t in over 12-1 Texas…right?
That’s an easy oneI’ll be honest, we have never really gotten the total Armageddon result with the 4 team playoff…….so in the last year, I’m kind of rooting for:
OSU or Michigan 13-0
FSU 13-0
Oregon 12-1
Alabama 12-1
Georgia 12-1
Texas 12-1
Washington 12-1
Just abject chaos for the selection committee. Haha.
That’s an easy one
1 B1G
2 FSU
3 Texas
4 Alabama
Edit
Or drop FSU to 4
Well Bama would jump people if they beat 12-0 Georgia and a 12-1 SEC champ is making the CFP, and since Texas beat Alabama, they also have to be ahead of Bama.Oregon is ahead of both Bama and Texas and it seems unlikely that they would beat an undefeated team in the conference championship and be jumped by Texas. I can see Bama…..but Texas has had some absolute turd games, including one with Ewers.
Oklahoma losing really weakened Texas’ chances……but certainly the Bama win looks better and better.
I’m sure a couple of these teams will lose and it won’t matter……but it is one of the first times there are pretty clear paths for many of these 1 loss teams to remain 1 loss and that would make the selection interesting, instead of a forgone conclusion.

Committee could spin it however they want, but those would be the 4 teams.
What if Pedo beats ScUM and ScUM beats THE... I don't see how FSU loses but they could which would create total madness...I’ll be honest, we have never really gotten the total Armageddon result with the 4 team playoff…….so in the last year, I’m kind of rooting for:

In 2014 they put Baylor ahead of TCU, even though TCU was better by every stretch, except Baylor won head to head.If Texas hadn't lost, sure, but the committee can easily say Bama has the better resume even with that loss if they take down Georgia. I think it's possible Georgia and Texas both miss out in place of SEC champ Bama if you have 3 undefeated champs (Ohio State/Michigan, FSU, Washington).
To me, it'd be a real shame if a 12-1 Oregon were left out, since they hypothetically would have avenged their only blemish. Among the 1-losses, Texas would have the worst one since Oklahoma has dropped since the Shootout.
Only way the SEC is iced out is if Georgia and Bama both have 2 losses among this crowd.
Then it’s a 3 way tie in the B1G East. Right now, PSU has the 3 way tiebreaker but that could change in the last weeks. What if Pedo beats ScUM and ScUM beats THE

I’d assume a 12-1 B1G champ would make it but if chaos happens they could be left out.
If they all go 11-1 and beat each other, then we get to like the 11th tiebreaker which is conference records of the teams you played in the other division. What is it? Did they play someone in the West that would break the tie? I haven’t seen it.
I feel like this is true every year at this timeNo way this actually happens but I would adore it.
