Do Not Sell My Personal Information
4-0 with burrow as my qb. Lol. Time to make a change there I think.thank goodness for CMC!
I switched to Goff last week

No idea what’s wrong with him, but the seasons too short to give him unlimited time to figure it out. Luckily i only had him in 1 league and my others leagues I have Allen (x2) and Tua so only one league I need to play whack a mole at QB

Roger that… I have Goff as well. Shouldve picked up Stroud last week but someone snatched him now.

Goff is solid but he gets vultured non stop. I wish the lions run game was significantly worse, but he’s more reliable than Burrow at this point which is a great thing to say as a browns fan but quite unexpected

Alright guys, I’m 4-0 with the highest points scored in my league, but I think it’s a house of cards. Would anyone want to look at this and give me some advice on what I should do? Stay put? Make trades? Nothing really on waivers. This is a 12 team .5 ppr 2 keeper league.

QB- Justin Fields, Stroud (picked him up last week but started Fields due to matchup)

WR- Davante Adams (keeper), Calvin Ridley, Jahan Dotson, Christian Watson, Zay Flowers

RB- Chubb (keeper and sadness), Miles Sanders, Raheem Mostert (scared about his workload going forward), Kyren Williams, Khalil Herbert, Keandre Miller, Latavius Murray

TE- Hunter Henry

K- Moody

DEF- Dallas

Any advice would be appreciated.

At 4-0 I'd probably stay put for now. I'd wait until closer to the trade deadline to see what guys like Watson and Flowers do the next few weeks. Williams is a clear #1, but if Mostert's monster week 3 is an aberration, you may want to dangle one of those WRs as bait to nab a better RB.

Picked up Kyren in 3/4 leagues. I don’t remember who the headliner was that week but I pretty much stole him only bidding 10-15% of FAAB

saved me from the Chubb injury

Agreed with Mar that’s your stud you can ride out as RB1 the rest of the year. The rest of your RBs make me nervous but I am confident in Mostert. Just a bad matchup at Buffalo

QB- You're fine. Who cares. Single QB league means it's not a scarce position.

WR- Davante/Ridley/Watson/Zay is a great group. I'd leave it be.

RB- Sanders, Mostert, Kyren, Khalil is a rough group. Obviously the eventual Mostert injury is the big issue here. If possible, start trying to trade for Achane--and see if Jeff Wilson is sitting on waivers.

TE- Sucks, but it's a garbage position.

K- GOAT
DEF- GOAT

Basically--go after good running backs. Heck, maybe there's someone who drafted Ekeler, Jonathan Taylor, Saquon, Kamara, etc and is towards the bottom of the standings. Maybe they'd take on a more "win-now" offer of Calvin Ridley and Kyren Williams for their stud.

Appreciate you guys talking me off the ledge. Unfortunately Jeff Wilson is sitting on someone’s IR. Luckily I only paid $26 out of $100 for Williams.

@Out of the Rafters at the Q if I were to try and do that deal, wouldn’t that just put me in the same place with having one good RB and trash for the rest of the position?

Let's say hypothetically you go out and trade Ridley + Kyren for Ekeler.

WR1: Davante
WR2: Christian Watson
RB1: Ekeler
RB2: Mostert
Flex: Miles Sanders

RB4: Khalil Herbert
WR3: Zay Flowers

That's a pretty sexy position grouping, and I'd still be sniffing around Achane and Jeff Wilson.

Dunno--I'm always trying to consolidate talent. Open roster spots are valuable.

I’m terrible with trades. I really need a RB and/or a QB upgrade. I suppose I can roll with Goff until Burrow turns it around but some people have like 3 QBs rostered that would be upgrades for me in this league, so I feel like it’s only a matter of time until they drop one.

Taking same approach to RB. Najee, cmc and mostert just riding them. Zach moss too. Bunch of guys besides CMC. Would love to make a trade but I just can’t afford to part with Devonta or Mclaurin. And those are my only real assets. Dont ask how I’m 4-0.

They say leagues are won on the waivers right?!

There's nothing wrong with piecing together RB2s in this day and age, it's more important to have a solidified WR group so I'd agree, don't part with those two you mentioned.

The guy with Achane says he likes Stroud. I’m not sure if that means he’d want a 1 for 1. Is that worth it? Stroud looks legit and Fields makes me nervous. I’d stream QBs, but my league likes to hoard them.

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat. QBs are worthless. RBs are currency.

I’ve got Freirmuth as my TE this year, he hasn’t done all that much and appears to be banged up now. Not a lot on the waiver wire, I put in for Sam LaPorta two weeks ago but someone higher than me got him, and proceeded to just keep him on his bench for 2 weeks. It’s my wife’s league and they were talking, and she mentioned I was mad I didn’t get him. So he offered me LaPorta for James Cook, who has been on my bench. My RB’s are Mixon, Connor, Montgomery, and Moss.

Not sure if this is a good trade or not, I’m guessing Moss will become pretty worthless soon once Taylor is back, and Connor has an injury history so not sure I can count on him all season. So it’s nice to have Montgomery and Cook as backups, and I’m still 4-0 with weak TE contribution. I’m also not sure with Jameson Williams coming back, will LaPorta’s targets go down. Any advice?

Edit: I just checked and Jake Ferguson is also available as a free agent, I’d have to drop someone to grab him. Either Johan Dotson or Tank Dell probably.
