2023 Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I took London in a few spots. I got hooked by the historical metrics where a player with his profile took off in year 2.

Those metrics were why I was going after him in some dynasty leagues, but as long as Ridder is the QB, they’re not gonna throw enough for any of their passing options to be consistently relevant.

London had a very solid week 2, Pitts just seems like a wasted pick at this point.

Pitts and London were both on my don’t draft list this year outside of best ball. Just didn’t trust Atlanta. They have no interest in throwing the ball, and the fact that they wasted top ten picks on a WR and a TE they don’t even scheme the ball to is absolutely fucking baffling to me.

Pitts was on mine but then he fell a bit and I tried to be fuckin smart.

I think I got him decently lower so maybe I wasn’t missing out too badly. I forget who else was available.

Najee I knew was mediocre but I just thought he’s be solid from pure volume. Early returns not good.

My team was fucking humming beautifully. And then Mike Williams looks done for the year.

Always reminds me why I hate fantasy football.

I stupidly took Mike Williams over Keenan Allen, and have regretted it every day since. Not sure what I was thinking there.

I was offered Derrick Henry for St Brown

Non PPR league and I had Chubb so RBs are… bad

RBs I have Kyren Williams, Rachaad White, Allgeier, and Jonathan Taylor

WRs: St Brown, Aiyuk, Atwell, Sutton, Drake London, Rashee Rice, Doubs, and Q Johnston

Thoughts?

I had Henry as the RB4 in standard during the draft and I'm never going to be the person who drafts ARSB--the market will always value him higher than I do. I don't like guys whose output is driven by situation over talent. I'm also always the person to value scarce positions like RB over positions like WR.

So, with those biases on the table, I think Henry is the more valuable commodity in the ARSB/Henry swap. I still think Henry finishes the year as a top 8 RB.

However, there is more risk to Henry. So if you're risk-averse, you might want to factor that in.

I wouldn’t. St Brown is your best and most consistent wideout.

Henry has been splitting time with Spears so doubt he finishes top 8 this season

Non-PPR makes it tough. I’d probably still prefer Sun God, though. Henry hasn’t looked great this year and the Titans are garbage.

With Mike Williams being out, I have a few guys on the bench to replace him as my flex. Seeing as I don't really know any of these guys, anyone have any suggestions? On my bench I have James Cook, David Montgomery, Zach Moss, and Michael Pittman. I also picked up Tank Dell this week. I also (maybe foolishly) picked up the Denver defense, just because the Bears are so bad and I figure both teams will be trying to lose for the Caleb Williams sweepstakes.

PPR? I’d lean Cook either way

In full PPR, I think I'd go Pittman. Dude has gotten at least eleven targets in all three games and has caught at least eight passes in each. He's a PPR monster.
