2023 Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
12-team, .5 PPR league, standard starters. Also six points per QB passing TD. I had the first pick.

QB Kirk Cousins
RB Jahmyr Gibbs
RB Breece Hall
WR Justin Jefferson
WR Chris Olave
TE Sam LaPorta
FLEX Christian Watson
K Greg Zuerlein
DEF Browns

BN Brandon Aiyuk
BN Jonathan Taylor
BN Raheem Mostert
BN Elijah Moore
BN Jonathan Mingo
BN Tank Bigsby
BN Anthony Richardson

I feel pretty good about that. Taylor fell all the way to the seventh round and at that point I had to pull the trigger. If he busts, meh. Seventh rounders bust all the time in fantasy drafts. I also don't normally draft two QBs, but Richardson was too tempting, and I got my safe pick with Cousins to stack with JJ.

Love this team. I’m really big on Christian Watson. I think Love is going to feed him out of habit. Lots of targets, maybe lower quality.

Keepers? Dynasty? Season-by-season? I only ask because if it's a keeper or dynasty format, you have some fun young guys.

RB's win championships and I hate your RB room.

Seasonal.

Half this league are Tacos. I'm not worried. It's a home league with a bunch of casuals and a few sharks. I'm in the running to win this one every year, and only got bounced last year because one of the Tacos had an absurd week in the playoffs and had the high score. I was the second highest score that week. Sucks, but that's fantasy.

My TE spot sucks, but 12 team, .5ppr.

The draft just never broke my way for a TE I was high on so I’ll be streaming this year. IMG_1456.jpeg

My wife signed up for fantasy football at her work and asked me to do it, I haven't played in well over 10 years so I'm not sure what the strategy even is these days. It looks like it's a PPR league, and based off the order of teams I'm guessing I pick 10th in a 12 team draft. What would be the best strategy for me? WR's early, RB's mid and QB/TE late? That's what a quick google search recommended, but I figured guys on here would probably be more tuned in and knowledgeable about strategy and who I can expect to be available around 10.
It looks like I read it wrong and the draft order was just set a half hour before the draft at 11, I’m picking 3. Who should I be targeting there? One of the top WRs I’m guessing?

I'd take CMC, Chubb or Saquon... in that order.

Consensus seems to be Justin Jefferson #1.

Interesting, yeah consensus seems to be CMC, Jefferson and Chase in some type of order, at least from what I’ve seen.
Whichever of those three are available at your pick is the correct choice. PPR leans towards WRs but CMC is a safe choice because he gets so many receptions out of the backfield.

No idea how I did, I’m guessing not great since I don’t know half the players I was picking in the middle and end rounds. Hopefully it still works out though:

QB Jalen Hurts
RB Joe Mixon
RB James Connor
WR Davante Adams
WR Ja’Marr Chase
TE Pay Freiermuth
Flex Mike Williams
K Jason Sanders
D Commanders (figured I’d stream each week)

B James Cook
B David Montgomery
B Zack Moss
B Samaje Perine
B Jahan Dotson
B Michael Pittman

My goal this year is to draft Amon Ra St. Brown, Cleveland defense, and Youngho Koo as kicker. Then I can name the team Ra Dawg Youngho.

14 person league. mostly casuals. 10th pick. had to draft hurts in the second rd instead of a wr so not as high on my wrs.

Okay, commissioner question.

Keeper league with future pick trade. Keepers are for the rounds they were drafted.

If you trade a future pick, should you lose the ability to keep a player from that round?

Have someone who wants to offer future picks for a first round player, but wants to keep the player long term.
+1 to the round to keep the player

That way you don’t get fucked if you traded an eight rounder then hit an absolute homerun in the 8th. You just burn a 7th

If it’s a first and they traded it it seems like they’re just trying to game the system honestly
