2023 NFL Draft - Day 3 - Rounds 4 through 7

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dawand Jones has slipped according to where draft sites thought he'd go, but he would be a fantastic swing tackle project for Callahan. His frame set records at the combine.

If they want a running back I'm a huge fan of Israel Abanikanda from Pitt. I love the way he runs the ball and he has a gear dudes his size aren't supposed to have.

I could see the browns going some combo of OT, Edge, S and RB today.

Tucker, Evans or McBride would be RBs I’m interested in.

The other positions I’m not as familiar with so I’ll let the grinders throw some names out for those roles.

Izzy is fun too.

Abanikanda also under 21, which certainly fits the mold.

People slept on him because he didn't do the combine and Pitt had a late pro day, but his athletic testing was incredible. His father was a track guy who also dabbled in college football. One cut and turns on the burners, which is perfect for the Browns outside zone scheme.

Defensively I am looking at Isaiah McGuire until some team snatches him away from us. Great fit as a third edge.

Israel has been my #1 sleeper rb for a while. I'd love him.

I have no problem with Roschon, Chase Brown, Deuce Vaughn either.
Vaughn would be another fun weapon. Super productive in college and could easily see him in a Sproles type role in a modern offense.

Tucker, Evans or McBride would be RBs I’m interested in.
Tucker might not get drafted due to his medical flag

McBride is a terrible, terrible RB according to the guys I trust in the scouting community. One example where I don't think PFF is on-par with consensus. Cool story, not an NFL player.

Evans would be fine. Not my first choice but I wouldn't hate it.

Guys I'm watching re: Browns--

RB Israel Ibanikanda
RB Roschon Johnson
TE Davis Allen
TE Josh Whyle
TE Jake Kuntz
OG Braeden Daniels
OL Jon Gaines
DE Isaiah McGuire
LB Noah Sewell
LB Nick Herbig
S Jammie Robinson
S Ronnie Hickman

Wow, Dawand Jones it is... I know there were questions but I like it..

Let Callahan work his magic with a guy of that size, talent and nasty...

The tackle room is up in the air with what it looks like moving forward so no issue here..

Only question is Conklin and Jones are more so strict RTs so have to wonder position fit..

Love it. Definitely needed another Tackle and he will eventually take over for Conklin

That's what I figure. Conklin has been a little injury prone lately so it's good to have depth at RT.
