I like taking a flier on a guy with the physical skills because Conklin's next injury seems inevitable

If he would have started on someone’s line this year he wouldn’t have fell to the 4th round. No one with a tackle hole that bad would have let him fall. He’s not gonna be ready for a year.

Conklin's extension is not exactly easy to get out of anytime soon.

I wonder if the Browns will give Jones an opportunity to try left tackle with an eye at potentially replacing Wills in 2024 or beyond.

I’d say it’s highly likely he was drafted to replace Wills.

At his size I don’t see why he can’t play LT. Big body like that protecting Deshauns blindside doesn’t sound too shabby.

Dawand Jones in the fourth round is almost no risk and massive upside.

My thought as well particularly with how well Jones has graded out as a pass blocker..

Even though making the switch is never easy, Jones was originally a LT his first two years at OSU before switching to the right side.. We've seen Wills struggle a bit but he was a RT all the way up through college and never played on the left side..
