2023 Season | Series #43 | Guardians @ Twins | Aug. 28-30, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wouldn’t put all my chips just yet on Manzardo, unless he comes out and kill it in next year ST , he and Valera might need a half of year to be ready for the big show, Valera needs to stay healthy for a long period of time and put up some productive numbers, I think this division is definitely for the takings next year regardless what the other 4 teams do this offseason, this young and ready pitching staff ,just need some offense behind them,

Manzardo's profile measures out as STUD. Safe choice, anyways.

Bo -- now
Manzardo -- start of '24
Brito -- mid '24

Those are my young studs of the future that'll stick around with the already young nucleus. And that's not even mentioning DeLauter come 2025. I won't shy away from Valera or Rocchio, but Arias is growing and we can really use his power. Valera, like you say, still has a lot to prove.

I feel like Brito is catching up to Manzardo quickly, who himself is just trying to get on his 2 feet before the end of the year. Wouldn't be surprised to see them both start out in AAA next year with a chance to get called up midseason / September.

I'm still laughing at the audacity of that last Calhoun AB. 3-0 count with 1st base open, he's sitting fastball over the plate the whole way. Crushes every bit of it and then instantaneous epic bat flip.

I genuinely did not realize that was a 3-0 pitch. Calhoun with the green light! Wow!

What position will Brito be playing? At Akron, he’s played 22 games at 3B, 42 games at 2B, and 12 games at SS (none at OF).

He will likely play some spring training in the OF...

It may be the, find a position later with him...

He isn't known to be the most athletic guy, seems like it'll be hard for him to make the transition. The "just hide him in LF" strategy hasn't really worked out the best.
