#25: ATH, Jabrill Peppers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That hit though. Saved a TD.

Seriously. Imagine how demoralizing that must have been for them failing to score. Ryan was pissed when he threw that incompletion on the subsequent play.

And TWO 20 yard punt returns. Not sure if those were thexstart to drives we scored on or not but good stuff either way.

Just pointing it out, there's a thread for people who admit they were wrong about a player... just in case anyone is ready to admit they were wrong about Peppers?

I can think of a certain someone who should be posting...

He had 1 punt return for 6 yards.
Shit. I must have read the KR as PR. Lol

Still and improvement for him there and I don’t fault him much for keeping on running out there in a position he’s not suited for.

Solid game, but still shaking my head over the missed tackle at the one yard line. Complete whiff by Peppers and you HAVE to make that tackle in the National Football League. Could have cost us the game. Like his big fumble a few weeks back (which overshadowed an otherwise good game for him), it's great to play well in Q1-Q3, but when the chips are down in Q4, this guy HAS to get better, and has to make a play at the crucial time.

But having said that, he is playing much better than his dreadful year one. He is looking solid now. Speaking of DBs, Denzel Ward is an absolute STUD.

Jabrill is grading out as the 4th or 5th best defender on the team. Speaking in platitudes about what one has to do in order to make a successful transition to the 'National Football League' doesn't seem informed. Peppers has "made it"; he's a player in the league.

He can play. However you could argue based on draft position you would like him to be the third best defender and not the 5th or 6th. Makes you wonder if s TJ Watt wouldn’t have been the better pick there. But as long as Peppers plays better in Q4, he can certainly be a plus player in the league.

Lmao how wide is the gap between being the 3rd best defender or 5th best defender on a unit wherein two of its players are already top-5 at their position in the entire league?

Can’t really say it matters much.

Tackling like that is also why he gave up a TD. Kids these days don't wrap up.
