The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Sixers and Cavaliers have been involved in trade discussions that would send point guard Andre Miller to Cleveland. Miller started his career with the Cavs from 1999 – 2001. "I'll be prepared because I've learned not to get too comfortable because this is a business," said Miller. "I'd love to spend my whole career in one place, but I've learned not to buy any homes and always have boxes ready."

I'm surprised no one posted this, unless I missed it. It was reported yesterday.

Andre Miller might be the best fit out there for us. A guy who can penetrate, willing to dump the ball to Z, a good mid range game, and smart.

Gooden would have to be involved I would imagine.

Wow, Iverson to Gooden in just two steps. We should have tried for it straight up.

On the flip side, if I were a sixers fan, I'd be burning stuff.like cars and buildings.

 Please let it be for Gooden....

Worst defensive PF evaaaaaaahhhhhhhrrrrr

I don't know, I agree his defense is very bad.. But then again, Gooden is able to be solid on the offensive end. He can rebound and he can score, and he can drag the defender out to clear the lane. Its something that'd we'd miss, but his defense, we obviously wont. I'll say one thing though, we are putting a lot of stock into Cedric Simmons if we deal Drew.

It's time to get some intelligent players in here... Get rid of Drew in a deal, and swing another deal to get Kurt Thomas in here for the rest of the year....

In other news, Drew is letting Abdul-JaVoskul kill us...

What I've heard of this trade possibility is that it would appear on the surface to be EXTREMELY one sided in the CAVS favor from a competiive standpoint in the here and now ... 76ers looking toward future, and opening up cap space.

Any winds on the likelihood of it going through?

My guess is something along the lines of Damon Jones + Ira Newble + Shannon Brown for Miller or Eric Snow and Newble for Miller.. Either of those work...

I dunno about Miller... As much as it would be a no brainer trade, I don't know if I could stand a Hughes-Miller backcourt as well as the fact we don't gain the legit 2nd threat on offense who can score from the perimeter...

The one thing is that it'd allow us to keep Gooden as a valuable trade asset, if that's what the trade would entail... Maybe to acquire a legit wing player?

Anything else on the trade horizon, W&G?

Dalembert, Igoudala, Miller, Korver for Hughes, Gooden, Newble and Snow ????

I I don't know what the sixers do with Drew directly. Evans and Dalembert seem to have a groove on. They certainly outrebounded our $i$$y a$$e$ the other night.

Hmmmm.... I never seemed to like Dalembert. Too much of a fouler. If we trade for Miller they should include Jason Smith. Quick 7ftr and has the potential to be a Dirk Nowitzki, from what I have seen from Summer League games.

Little tidbits are what make you one of my favorite posters on here. Keep whatever leaks you can tell us coming...

Yeah... But, he's a big who can actually catch a ball and dunk it in the mid-air-- I think it's called an alley-oop ?? But not sure since I haven't seen one of those guys around here...

Also, he's an intimidating shot blocker who can defend... We need one of those as well..

Jason Smith on the other hand couldn't guard a can of Sprite...
