Make a package based Dion, Tristan, our 1st rounder, a future 1st for a top 5 pick? Get an impact player with a top 5 pick for next to Kyrie, then make a splash with all of our cap space in free agency. That would be a nice core. Then just fill roster with a couple 2nd round picks and fill in players. I don't even know if that package would get a top 5 pick, just throwing things out there.

YOu have got to hear/see Jalen Rose do Mutumbo sex impersonations. He's told the stories on Grantland a few times about how his rookie year Mutumbo would call at all hours sending him to get condoms and having him pick up his booty calls from the airport :chuckles:

Obviously, there is not much else to do around Cleveland and Independence other than getting ass on a day off. So... hire Mutumbo as a special assistant for Embiid and let him show him how it is done. Ermmmmm on the court. :chuckles:

I'm biased as I'm from Kansas and a KU fan, but Embiid is pretty comparable to Roy Hibbert in my opinion. And what any team wouldn't do to have a center in this game that can make that type of impact.

I'm definitely not overrating Wiggins, I would take Embiid over him in a heart beat, every day of the week. But I will say that I think Wiggins game will translate much better to the NBA style than college, and that Wiggins is learning valuable lessons in college on how to play the game the right way and play team ball and focus on defense. Wiggins stats may not be as crazy as they could be if he shot alot more and dominated the ball, but he is learning many good foundational building blocks and skills that will help him big time moving forward and in the long run.

Really, the absolute dream scenario if playoffs truly look out of reach this year would be Minnesota continuing to fall on their head and Love wanting out. Trade the farm for Love. Everything and anything but our own 2014 pick. Then we go on about a 6 or 7 game tear where Kyrie and Love look like world beaters. Then Love has an 'ailment' and has to sit out the rest of the year. Then we tank and get the top pick. Draft Embiid. Take a swing at Lebron. If he comes great. It he doesn't, make a nice chunky offer to Gordon Hayward.

I'm gonna go take a nap and dream that this is even remotely real. :chuckles:
