Starters for East are Lowry, Wade, Melo, George, and LeBron. Starters for West are Curry, Westbrook, Kobe, Kawhi, and KD.

My only complaint is that I don't like the positionless basketball. They should at least have a legitimate PF or C at the 5 position.

Love probably even gets a bench spot before Kyrie this year. Not because of Kyrie's talent, but the missed time and he has been struggling. I would hope both would make it though. But Wall and Rose are competition too.

Drummond and Douchebag Green were robbed. Melo and Kobe don't need to be there.

Glad Kawhi is starting at least. Dude definitely deserves it.

Is this the thread where I can complain about everybody complaining about who the fans pick? Last time I checked this is a meaningless game for the fans.

Never mind every year the coaches inevitably will make just as puzzling of choices, but let's rip the fans for who they want to see play in their game!

I kind of hope kyrie isn't picked by the coaches to serve as motivation and hopefully light a fire under his ass. Kevin deserves it despite up and down play recently. There really isn't any better power forwards in the east and if the Hawks could have 4 all stars last year; the cavs should probably have another representative being the king of the east.

It's really only bragging rights though because the all star game is extremely boring and I'd rather our guys get some extended rest.

Apparently Zaza Pachulia was less than 15k votes from being a starter. What a joke.

I don't think Kyrie deserves an all star spot, and I'm not sure KL does either. That said how do you not give the edge to Love because of record over some other guys in the East.

Neither will make it.

Drummond, Bosh, Millsap will be the 3 front court reserves. Wall, Butler, Derozan and Isiah Thomas will be the 4 back court guys.

The best record of the conference only gets one all-star? First time since when?

If the Hawks had the best record youll see Korver, Teague, Milsap, Horford, Larry, Curly, Moe, John Doe, and the mascot

I remember when the Cavs were lighting it up years ago and people were demanding Mo to be an allstar, fast forward to today and here we read about Love wont even be an allstar.

Who do you suggest leaving out of the 7 guys I have seen mentioned as the likely reserves pretty much across the board?

Isiah Thomas is not that good. Sometimes, he downright kills his team.

He's averaging almost 22/7/3 a game with a PER of almost 22. In the east that is good enough to be an All-star reserve guard.
And kyrie has a per of 19 and Is abhorable on defense right now.

It's really hard to give it to him or kev based on this season.

Fair enough. As it is, Delly's been our second-best player, but doesn't have the numbers to match.

I think everyone in the world knows Kyrie Irving is an All-Star and a much better player than Isaiah Thomas. I am sure the coaches know it to and the NBA knows who the fans want to see. No one gives a shit about a five foot nothing on a 7 seed. I would imagine common sense and marketing win out.
