It's not you. Over hyped, and under delivered. He has had one good playoff run in his career, other than that he is a disappointment.

Well, I would have liked to see a competitive All Star game, but at least the dunk contest was great.

I think the biggest win for us is that LeBron only played 20 minutes. Played less minutes than Kobe. Took a hit to his scoring average though.

So why do people want him again

Speaking on behalf of all people that would consider the trade. Melo and Love on this team is a wash, possibly even a gain for us (not long term). Love isn't fitting in well on offense, his defense isn't very good.

Melo on the other hand would allow the team to play him with the second unit, and actually have a creator on the floor, unlike when Love plays with them. The defensive ability is a wash/slight advantage to Melo.

The biggest thing is the Brooklyn pick though. It would allow us to really put together a package next off season for Cousins, or any other player who might come available. Or it could net us a LeBron caliber prospect if we got lotto lucky (good track record...).

The main thing is that if we all agree, we are 90% chance playing GS, Melo helps us more than Love does against that team.

Kyle Lowry was +/- -28 for the game, by far the worst of everyone. The next worst was -18. The east was like an order of magnitude suckier with him on the court than any other combination. I know +/- can be a misleading stat, but.... c'mon.

Only two players were +15 or better... but I won't name them for fear of some exploding heads in here

Why the hell do people think the Cavs would get the Brooklyn pick in a deal for Melo? If Love is going to the Celtics, that Brooklyn pick is going to NYK, if its going to anyone.
