I don't keep tabs on every single teams SL, but as far as I know he is, by far, the worst starter in the league.

Clark will give him a run for his money. Can't think of anyone else though :chuckles:

The Cavs better decline the shit out of Gee's team option.

I imagine his contract will be packaged in any trade we might make later this year for a star player if one becomes available. Clark too. That's the main reason we have all these guys on non-guaranteed deals.

Alonzo Gee just had his best game this season with hustle, getting the boards, decent defense, and made plays with the minutes given tonight. Those 2 offensive boards stopped the Wizards momentum at the right moments. Not saying he is a starter but is capable of playing limited minutes as a 9th, 10th man on the team.

Alonzo Gee just had his best game this season with hustle, getting the boards, decent defense, and made plays with the minutes given tonight. Those 2 offensive boards stopped the Wizards momentum at the right moments. Not saying he is a starter but is capable of playing limited minutes as a 9th, 10th man on the team.

He was effective at energy minutes when he solidified his spot on the team. He never seemed very effective starting. I think he kinda gets run down over the season playing big minutes guarding pg's and all.

He's finally in the right role, coming off of the bench. I forgot how good he was getting those put back slams. He's pretty good when he's not trying to dribble the ball.

I'd like to see Gee stay if it doesn't cost much. I think a real coach could get some valuable stuff out of him. He was one of our best one on one defenders last year, can run the floor a little bit, play strong, and finish. And when things are more in rhythm, he can hit an open 3. Not a bad 12th guy to have. Works hard (?) and not a locker room problem as far as I know.

Maybe who we trade should really depend on who the new coach and GM will be Then fit pieces around what they see fit for the team. We might already have some valuable pieces that just don't look too valuable right now in this system.

That said, he in particular should not be taking the ball out of bounds under the other teams' basket especially when trying to close out a game, or really in general, ever.

Luckily we avoided a catastrophe with that this night.

Love Gee tho, hope he can stick around.

I'm just never going to be comfortable with Gee on the court because I don't think he's a smart player. I've never felt that he understood his own limitations on the court, and he's always tried to do things that go beyond his skill set.

Simply put, I don't think he's an NBA caliber player.

I'd put this loss on Kyrie and Hawes if anybody. And Brown for leaving Dion out so long in the 4th and for not fouling when we were down 4 with 30 seconds left to play when the Bucks have the ball.
