Speights and Young for Jamison/Parker/2nd rounder?

If the 76ers do that, they would be gaining a ton of steam in the "dumbest franchises in the NBA" discussion.

-Giving Elton Brand a ton of money as he was coming off the Achilles injury that cost him his whole season.
-Refusing to re-sign Andre Miller when they could have brought him back at around 5-6 mil per year, perfectly reasonable for the guy that MADE YOUR TEAM WORK.
-Giving Andre Iguodala, a #2 guy at best, #1 money.
-Signing Lou Williams to a mid-level deal, knowing that he was too short to be a SG, and not good enough to be a PG... then drafting Jrue Holiday to be the PG of the future negating the Lou Will signing.
-Giving Samuel Dalembert that HORRENDOUS contract.

Ironically, the 76ers have done a pretty good job of drafting... they just have no idea how to use money.

Speights and Young for Jamison/Parker/2nd rounder?

How would this trade work? Jamison and Parker make over 16 million, Speights and Young make less than 5 million. We have the trade exception, not Philly....so we can take on more, not Philly. They would have to throw in Kapono and that is still not quite enough, maybe another useless player making too much. Also, why do they want Parker.

I am guessing we would have to give them Parker and Jamison if we are getting Speights out of the deal and Young. We might need to give them even more talent and take on Kapono. Now, i am all for getting Speights. I still think he has potential if he can be coached. And Young is a tweener foward. He is basically a younger lesser version of Jamison. I am not a fan of undersized fowards, but he does have talent.
