Let's start this off by saying that I, by no means, consider Iguodala to be a star. I consider him to be a young (26) athletic wing that would be a nice piece on a good team.
That said, I have a feeling, once the 76ers realize that they have an awful team, Iguodala will be on the block for cheap. He plays almost the same game as Evan Turner and I have a feeling they will want to open a starting position up for Turner and start building their franchise around him. Turner and Iggy do many of the same things and they are redundant on the same team, as has been highly publicized.
I am not for giving up major pieces to bring him in (ie: any of our draft picks, the TPE) but would certainly love to bring him in in a salary dump.
Something along the lines of
Jamison, Eyenga, one of Miami's 1sts for Iguodala.
Again, it's not going to turn our franchise around, but Iguodala is a young player entering his prime and a nice quasi-all-star player to build around along with Mo, Andy, and a potential breakout player in Hickson.
For those concerned about draft position, I think adding Iguodala would be worth dropping 4-5 spots in the draft. If we can bring in a guy of Iguodala's caliber without giving away any significant assets, I think we would be stupid to pass it up.
