Eh idk RJ Barret and Cam Reddish aren’t far behind Zion. I mean obviously Zion has greater potential (so we think) but who knows.

No offense...but you must not be watching much college basketball. Pelicans would hang up laughing, IMO, if the Knicks called and offered DSJ/Knox/Reddish.

Big difference between top-3 pick and #1 pick in this draft. DSJ/Knox/#3 would be a trash offer.
4 years of control on #3, 2 years of control on DSJ & 3 years on Knox is significantly better than what the Lakers have offered thus far. If they chose to add in Robinson &/or send Ntilikina to a 3 party for additional assets....its trumps anything and everything the Lakers could do. Lets not also forget, that Demps is not only sending a player away from the conference, but also potentially destroying anything the Lakers are trying to plan.

All this goes without saying, I bet a handful of small markets (especially us) help facilitate this trade.

Bro Duke is my favorite team. They’re obviously playing through Zion and RJ more than Reddish, who knows what Reddish could be if he wasn’t playing behind those 2.

Cam Reddish has been playing like trash for weeks and is shooting 34.9% from the field this season. Only has a 14.4 PER this season too.

He should stay in school.

Zion's got a 42.6 PER this season. 42.6!!

The highest PER anybody has had in college basketball since 09-10 (farthest back I can check the database for some reason) is 36.9 from some dude named John Brown that went to High Point and didn't play nearly the competition that Zion does.

Reddish isn't even close to Zion this year, and Barrett really isn't either.

I don't know if the Lakers would be able to top it, but some team certainly would. It's reminiscent of the grab bag of mediocre assets the Celtics gave us for Kyrie, except AD is way more valuable than Kyrie was when we traded him.

He'd be nobody...he's a trainwreck when he tries to put the ball on the floor and do anything. His best games are the ones like he played against St Johns, where he just acts as a floor spacer for Zion and RJ and does nothing else. 3&D roleplayer written all over him.

If the Knicks are dumb enough to trade Zion alone for AD before any FA agrees to go to NY...huge risk when AD says he’s gone after 1 year anyway.

That’s a better offer than LA has and NY could add Knox.

If I’m NO I’d go with that or Boston I’m not trading him where he wants and in the same conference

He put together championship team?

Really?

LeBron decided to come back.

We lucked into the first round pick, so we had the ammo to trade for Love.

Kyrie was already here.

Seriously?

He made one solid trade, in getting us Shump and JR. Everything else he did was pretty bad.

We had no room to get better because of his shitty re-signs, and depleting all of our assets.

I just laugh when people think he honestly put a championship team together. When anyone of us could have gotten credit for it.

LeBron coming back, wasn't basically what sealed it, no?
Yeah really.
He had to swing deals to get those players in place. Who else did it?
Keep laughing because you haven't defended your position very well..
It sounds to me like you're speaking from being bitter than being objective.
If you didn't like Griff, well that's you. I did more so than Ferry or Pax.

The Pelicans are out of their mind Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, 2 future first round picks and they deny it and are wanting 4 first round picks.

Take the lakers offer or wait until Boston s offer in the summer which includes Tatum, who do you think is the best player in those two deals?
You also have Ball openly saying he does not want to go to the Pelicans so there’s that.
The picks the lakers are offering are going to be in the mid to late 20s. Last but not least how did Kuzma, Ingram, and Ball do record wise and what do you think their peak together is. They didn’t sniff the playoffs last year, they’re barely making it this year WITH Lebron. Pump the brakes

Exactly how does that offer actually move the Pelicans closer to a successful rebuild?

Kuzma, Ball, and and Ingram are "nice" players who might be the cornerstones of a .500 team. Great -- that puts you at the bottom of the lottery or as a 7-8 seed, so you've just sabotaged your chances of getting that critical high draft pick. The picks - unless they are very far out -- are likely to be in the 20's as well. That might help keep the Pels a competitive .500 team for a longer term but again, no real chance at top-end talent.

The Lakers think that their offer is four quarters that add up to a dollar, and it doesn't work that way in the NBA. A realistic shot at the high-end of the lottery is worth more to a rebuilding team that a bunch of middling players/picks, but that high-end pick is exactly what the Lakers don't have.

I don’t think they are out of their minds. They are in the drivers seat with one of the best players in the league on their roster. I would honestly ask for their second round picks as well.

These scumbags are ruining the sport.

I don’t think Ball is gonna be much more than what he is, probably can say the same for Ingram but I think Kuzma has potentiomal just sucks he was a 4 year college player, so he’s not as young as you’d like him. But I’m just looking off of past trades of what Kawhi went for, whst pg13 went for, what jimmy butler went for twice. I think Boston is bluffing no way in hell they trade for him even if Kyrie leaves, he’d never stay. NO needs to take this offer now. Dont be delusional. Unless they wait for Knicks offer, thsts only one that makes actual sense.
