We won't give Z a 6 year contract. It's settled at 3 or 4 years guaranteed, they're negotiating it now. So if it starts at 8 mil, then 9 mil left to spend.

Sign Saras for 3 year 10 mil. That's what he asked for earlier, and still got lowballed by Boston with their 3 year 5 mil. So I think the 10 mil contract is reasonable and doable. That leaves 6 mil left.

We then go to the backup center/pf. Varejao can play spot minutes backing up Z as well. So, we can realistically pick up Donyell Marshall or even SAR because all anyone else can offer them is the MLE. That extra mil is a good trump to anyone else's offers.

Marshall would be good off the bench as a shooter. I think we were pursuing him during the trade deadline and were supposed to acquire him in a trade involving Sasha Pavlovic, but it fell through and we ended up with Jiri Welsch and no draft pick

So it could look like this:
