Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It’s kind of funny people are disagreeing with these posts about what I would prefer

Are you trying to say “no Moz you wouldn’t rather have this, trust me I would know”

I don't get it either. Maybe some people just don't like basketball that much? I mean, shit, if they moved a hockey team to Cleveland. I honestly wouldn't give a flying fuck if they ever won.

It's just one person's preference. I'm totally cool if any 3 Cleveland teams win a title, and beyond grateful for it.

But yeah. I care way more about the Browns than the Indians and Cavs. That's just my preference.

Doesn't have to be anyone else's.

I love the Cavs and the idea of pro basketball.

I dislike the NBA and the reality of pro basketball.

I hate woj. bombs, I hate the passive aggressive messages sent via various players, and I hate the super team concept.*

I've always just liked football a bit more to be honest as a whole. I honestly prefer the college game, but the Browns have this weird attachment to me. To me they're the flagship franchise of the city for better or worse.

*And I know I am VERY much a hypocrite with there. But I loved the '16 Finals and that team in spite of that concept.

Y'all say this shit now but itll be boring as fuck with no Cavs and Indians when the Browns are in off-season. We'd be stalking our favorite players and knowing what they ate for breakfast.

Grateful for our sports all around. 2016 will never ever be copied again. That was very much like a Superbowl if you ask me.

oh and without it doubt it fucking blows.

I miss both eras of the LeBron James led Cavs.

This blows. I'd much rather be discussing who we'd have to possibly face in the East or in the Finals than trying to tank.

But the whole extra level of drama around said product is exhausting to keep up with as a fan.

I don't know man... I don't really like investing that much time into sports. To me its just a game, and there's way more important/better stuff for me to do.

I don't prioritize sports that high. That's just me.

I prioritized it much higher when I was younger. Made it almost 24/7, and found it much, much, better to not do it frankly.

I'm just happy the Browns finally figured it out after 28 years.

Imagine going through another 28 years factory of sadness without the Cavs, Indians, OSU... 1 Superbowl wouldn't do it for me.

Browns are my favorite team in this town though, don't know why... I love baseball and wish the Indians were the Yankees, I'd be the biggest fanboy then. We happen to be in a rough market with little fan support that doesn't provide us with all the resources in the world, I wish, but I also like to bitch about the team too. Still love them. Nothing like a summer time sport like Baseball.

But I do love my variation of hometown sports and wouldn't trade them in for nothing.

I couldn’t imagine thinking the Browns have “figured it out” after they came into this season with Hue Jackson and Todd Haley, fired both and have shown themselves to be mediocre for a stretch of a few weeks.

They have a long way to go before proving that they’ve “figured it out.”

Shiiiiiiiit.

They figured it out the second they drafted Jeff Garcia.

Are you suggesting next year they will be a year or two away from the playoffs or SB contenders?

I did a quick list of QBs drafted the last 6 and tried to rank them who I would want to be my starting QB for the playoffs this year. After I did the list I thought who I would trade Baker for if I could to build my team for the next 10 years.. Mahomes is a no brainer. If Wentz was healthy but with a blown knee and fracture in back I don't know if I would. The same with Watson and his knees I wouldn't make the trade. Goff is the one that kinda stumped me. I just don't know if he is going to continue to be better then Baker.

Can't wait for the Baker vs. Goff/Mahomes debates that are coming in the not so distant future
