Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Barkley's receiving stats are pretty inflated. Fuck checkdown Eli.

Baker will have to own that rookie QB touchdown record for the AP to have a tough decision.

I'm young enough to still remember when Dak beat out Zeke. Quarterbacking at a high level is still harder than a RB's job.

I don't disagree (QB play vs RB) but it's still hard to ignore that he might run for 1,400 yard on 5+ per carry, on a team with a dogshit QB and a bad offensive line.

Baker needs 8 passing TD's over his last 3 to break the record......that seems like a stretch but we'll see. Even tying it (7) would be an amazing feat, given he won't get a full 16 games.

My man I promise you I would. I would send the Cavs out of town if it meant a super bowl. This isn’t like when you love all your kids equally. The Browns are significantly more important to me than the Cavs. And I say that as someone who buys the NBA league pass single team just to watch the Cavs. I love the Cavs, but compared to the Browns they’re meh

I would rather experience one super bowl win in my life than have the greatest NBA dynasty of all time.
It’s kind of funny people are disagreeing with these posts about what I would prefer

Are you trying to say “no Moz you wouldn’t rather have this, trust me I would know”

Wizard, I do have to strongly disagree about trading a boat load of NBA Championships for 1 Super Bowl victory. It's a hypothetical situation and just people's opinions of course, but the NBA Championship was extremely exciting and multiple Championship would be even more exciting, better than a Super Bowl.

I'm a Browns fan. I'm a fan for life and can't wait 'till they are a serious contender again. But I have to say that I like the Cavs and Indians more. Basketball and baseball I feel more attached to the team than football. Baseball is an everyday sport over 6 months. Basketball is every other day over 5 months. There are more games to watch thus more enjoyment every season. Football just once a week for four months. And with basketball and baseball I see the players faces everyday, see them play more and speak more and I just feel more attached to those teams. With the way football is, it's just guys underneath Orange helmets. Half the team if I was standing right next to them with them wearing street clothes I wouldn't recognize them.

If you ask me in August, if I had the choice of having a great NBA Cavaliers season to watch but a shitty football Browns season to watch OR have a great Browns season but a shitty Cavs season, I would choose the great Cavs season.

I watch all the Browns games and cheer them on, but there is just more enjoyment to be had for the sports that play way more often.

I love football way more. I like that it is a once a week thing. People want to hang out during the football season at my age. The only time I hang out with friends for other sports is during the playoffs. Just way too many games for me.

I am just excited to be an absolute dick to all the other fans of AFC North teams if we finally turn the corner.

We've suffered for years so naturally I plan to become insufferable in the presence of other fans.

I'm not sure how anyone could think about trading one championship for another after the 50 year drought

Don't even like baseball, but I would root like hell for the Indians to win a World Series. Not gonna trade a moment like that for anything because they're so rare and each of them are special in their own way

ESPiN actually provides a compelling, in-depth analysis of the rookie QBs:

"There have been two Mayfields; the guy we saw under Hue Jackson and Todd Haley has looked different from the passer who has played his past five games under new offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens. Overnight, Mayfield has transformed from struggling rookie quarterback to Pro Bowler."

This is the dream right here

But I’m just gonna be a dick to all fans not just AFC North fans

Barnwell has always been one of the better football writers out there. Dude helped put Grantland on the map along with Zach Lowe.

Now I know you are lying.

You don't have any friends.
