Unless Dumars has a big trade lined up to get something huge for Rip or Tay, If I'm a pistons fan I'm not too happy all their cap room netted Ben Gordon and Charlie V.

Who beside Kwame comes off the books for them next year? Will they room for a max guy next year? Maybe they'll trade Rip for an expiring so the can try and bring in Bosh or Amare next year. Because Ben Gordon and CV are complimentary players, not franchise makers.

Kirilenko is always hurt. Twins, because they're both known as defenders? Common, Kirilenko is a soft baby, whose feelings get hurt easy. This is the guy that was crying on national tv, about how bad the Jazz treat him. Prince is that soft?

Prince is twice the player. He's a much better defender. Kirilenko is NOT nearly as good on the ball. Kirilenko makes a lot of great plays off the ball with his speed and shot blocking ability.

The share some of the same attributes, except Prince isn't a soft baby, who will wet his pants if a coach yells at all. To me, there's a pretty big difference in basketball player.

You're crazy if you think Prince is better than Kirilenko.. Kirilenko was in the running for DPOY before and had amazing defense, along with his very versatile stats(came come to having quadruple doubles many times), it's true he's had injuries recently but that has nothing to do with him being "soft". Big baby davis also cried on tv but no one on boston's roster cared when he hit the game winning shot. I think Kirilenko will have a rebound year once he gets healthy.

but all of this is irrelevant, neither of those players will be on the cavs roster.

People who thought he'd choose anything but the money are losers. This is a business, not the YMCA league. The owners and GMs treat the players like tradeable assets -- why shouldn't the players watch out for their own interests as well? It's not like CV can get big endorsement money or a job as an analyst some day -- his best hope is making as much money as he can before he gets old.

Smart move on his part. Besides -- Artest would be MUCH better for us...unless he gets offered more money from another potential contender.

Yeah. Just awful. Detroit might not make the top 8 this coming year with that starting five.

Hard to believe that CV will sign a five year deal for 7M to play on a loser for SURE with NO coach. He could have signed a one year for a million less, but could have entered the market in 2010 with MANY more teams with lots more money to spend. I didn't think CharlieV was an idiot, but now admit I was very wrong. He IS an idiot.

All that said; Artest would be a great fit. Go Danny! Sheed or McDice to go along with things.
