Ben McLemore: Worth the risk?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

He's super fluid and quick. He's gonna be what Beal is expected to be IMO.

Honestly haven't even clicked on his workout video, but most of the SLAM pre-draft workouts I have seen could be described as casual. I don't think this one is on McLemore.

He doesn't have that tenacity or motor but damn I think he will be special if he can somehow figure out a way to develop in those categories. He is the only other prospect I would consider with the #1 selection other than Noel. Really wish he was a SF

The problem is that drive, desire, will etc, aren't really developed traits at this stage in the game. You either have it or you don't.

He looks good. Dion Waiters looks similar. I say if you want another Sg you take a spot up shooter, which the Cavs have none.

After that Drummond scenario I rather ignore draft analysts who question a player's motor. Imo, it's also a bit overblown in Ben's case.

Drummond had motor problems all last season. His defense didn't impress me one iota and was a reason why the Pistons record was so poor. He simply got out fought and beaten to much. I think people were to much in "awe" of the physical Andre Drummond and ignored the weak mental part, which imo, makes him iffy going foward.

Interesting...

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard

Serious here, but I can't figure this tweet out. N.O. has Gordon at 6 means what? They have Eric Gordon and the 6th pick so....? What, exactly?

Typo. They have Eric Gordon so they likely wouldn't take McLemore at 6. In addition, they also really like Burke which makes it even more unlikely they take McLemore.
