Browns 2018 Season Reboot Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I’d put money on Pittsburgh smacking the piss out of Cincinnati. Even still? If we just won out no matter what — it’s astounding to go from winless to a winning season.

For once it wouldn’t feel like an offseason of futility. There are fucking power moves to be had.

I’m sorry, I refuse to buy into the “it’s good we actually didn’t make the playoffs” talk until we are mathematically eliminated.

So please shut up about that until at least a week from now :chuckle:

So if we win next week and things go well on the scoreboard side.. I think week 17 could be flexed to Sunday night football... only other game I could see is the colts and titans... even if we are eliminated by then how sweet would it be to knock the ravens out of the playoffs on national tv

This would be great, however, there aren't sunday or monday night games in Week 17 as they make teams play at the same time so there is more playoff excitement.

Unless the Brownies make the playoffs, we'll have to wait until next year to get more prime time games.

Where the fuck have you been, trapped in a mine?

One thing I don't understand re: the Steelers remaining schedule is why the NE and NO games are considered foregone-conclusion losses.

Less than 50-50, yes, but the Pats game is at Heinz.

They clearly aren’t foregone conclusions.

But they are both extremely possible, and at this point in the season, we’ll settle for possible.

Update in other games... Tennessee and Indy both up early guarantees we have to win the division should those hold.

Welp, Titans and Colts wins today basically sealed it. Have to win the division now to get in.

The good news is the Bengals looked great today. Need them to be playing well in two weeks

Yeah, but take a massive dump next week.

God it's always the Titans and Colts cockblocking us it seems.

tired of their stupid antics.

The Browns have no one to blame but themselves. Zane's missed kicks in week 1 and week 2, Hue not going for it on 4th and an inch in oakland. Peppers fumble in OT against Tampa. Those 4 plays are the reason we are in need of help. It's not the fault of the other teams. I mean, fuck the refs in the Oakland game, but other than that we have made our own luck.

Pitt losing looks to be the only path now.

It is the only path. We were eliminated from wild card race unless the Colts and Titans both lose next week and then tie in week 17. In which case we still may lose out, but i haven’t looked up what happens then

Yeah if BAL, TEN, IND lose next week, we win Week 16/17 and IND/TEN tie, then we are the 2nd WC.

Basically Joe Haden may have just ended our playoff hopes.
