Browns 2018 Season Reboot Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Don’t forget it is a day early this week. Team flew out on Thursday.

Think he was interpreting the 7-9 record you mentioned as the 2014 season. But I believe you were referencing 2001
Correct about my 2014 reference. Forgot about 2001 for a moment.

We were actually 5-5 against the AFC Central in 2001, and if you remove Ten and Jax to make it the current AFC North we were also, in fact, 3-3.

Yeah. We’ve also never had a winning record against our division since we returned. We’ve went 500 thrice.

On today’s Cleveland Browns Daily, Bishop and Zegura confirmed that this is his second concussion this season. They were discussing him being ruled out officially today.

And I believe them over Ruiter when it comes to team injuries.

To add to the cluster, the insiders at The OBR said there's only been one official.

Can somebody tell me where we stand with Corbett?

I’ll be honest I didnt know he had played.

Such is the life of my shitty work schedule the next few months.

Corbett is probably your Tretter or Zeitler replacement next year. If not next year, definitely 2020.

I would still very much be interested in going with Bitonio at LT and Corbett at LG because I’m ultimately not a Greg Robinson believer, but it doesn’t seem like the Browns want to move Joel.

Oh, so it’s not that he blows.
I actually think if Corbett had been healthy, he’d be starting at center right now.

Tretter is trying to gut it out, but he’s not right physically whatsoever. Kudos to him for the effort, though.

I can actually live with Hue and Haley screwing up games earlier in the season that'll ultimately lead us to just missing out on the Playoffs. It's going to build real character in this team - they know they can win ball games and regardless of what happens this season, they're going to be hungry moving into 2019. It's surreal to think that the AFC North is basically the Browns' for the taking for the next 10 years.

Browns can control the division and build a contender, using the failures of this season as the ultimate motivation. Let's face it: most of our superstars are rookies and second year players. They almost have no right to look as promising as they do right now.

If we fall short this season, this team is going to be so damn hungry heading into 2019. They're going to be a hard team to go up against, and that's something I cannot believe I am writing about the Cleveland Browns.
