Browns 2018 Season Reboot Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My Dad and another guy I work with have torn their bicep. My Dad was a partial tear, the guy I work with a full tear off the bone, his literally rolled up into his shoulder . The amazing part was they still could move their arm up and down like normal. Your triceps does a lot of the work which surprised me. My Dad could take his time getting it fixed, the one who tore it off the bone needed to have surgery that week or it would atrophy to the point that the muscle was useless after only a few days. Both were also over 60 years old.

I’m not going to act like this isn’t extremely troubling for Ward. It is.

Two concussions in one year, and this one has taken two weeks and still hasn’t cleared the protocol.

I love the player and his character, but I’m scared to death that he may be a player who deals with a number of injuries due to his frame.

I would consider shutting him down the rest of this season. He’s too important. If he were to pick up a third.... oh man.

Concussion and frame have nothing to do with it. But because its a second concussion this season, I bet the doctors are being extra cautious with Ward.

I'm still going to need some assurances that Ward did, in fact, suffer 2 concussions this season. Ruiter said today that the first "concussion" was a stinger and that there was only one concussion. So, where are we getting 2?

Just realized, one win against Baltimore/Cinci locks up a winning record against the division.

First time since they came back if I did my math right. Were 3-3 in both of the two seasons with a winning record and the 7-9 season.

If Ramsey is actually available in the offseason as rumored we need to go after him. That would be one hell of an insurance policy.

Penny pinching Haslam won't go after him.

2-4 in 2014 - we got swept by the purple rats.

Honestly 2 weeks of games lost is normal for protocol. If he isn't practicing early next week, that is another issue.

Also, home vs. road matters a bit because of flying in a plane, to say nothing of playing at altitude. Garrett missed the London trip last year in the protocol - it was more precautionary, though, as he likely would've played through in a better season, and there was also a bye week after to recover further.

On today’s Cleveland Browns Daily, Bishop and Zegura confirmed that this is his second concussion this season. They were discussing him being ruled out officially today.

And I believe them over Ruiter when it comes to team injuries.

Anyone know if he had any concussions in college?

A few undisclosed injuries but nothing big. He was generally pretty healthy.

He also was a very physical corner in run support despite his size in college.

I just get nervous with him trying to be as physical a tackler in the NFL as he was in college at his size. Even though I love his aggression.

That preseason tackle that had us all scared against Ertz was a beautiful form tackle that you’d teach players growing up. Hit with your eyes, head in front of the numbers, wrap, drive through with your legs... but he was just too small and got stonewalled and bent over on by a 260 lb TE on the move.

He’s so important to this team. He takes guys right out of the game when he’s healthy and we play man. I just hate seeing him dinged up.

How is 2-4 a winning record...

Think he was interpreting the 7-9 record you mentioned as the 2014 season. But I believe you were referencing 2001
