How very Doug Downerish of you. Kickers are a dime a dozen and it isn’t a problem until it becomes a problem. The season hasn’t started yet, so the slate is clean and it’s not a problem.

If McMaughlin is their guy, I trust the Browns will keep a kicker on the practice squad that they can easily go to if McLaughlin falters.
Do you not trust the offense or the defense if you think ~1/3 of their games are being lost by a FG?

The Browns will make history and refuse to carry a kicker on the roster.

I'm pretty sure every high school team has that one backup lineman who swears he can fill in at kicker.

He played pee wee soccer in elementary school before he got fat, so after practice he hangs out trying to nail 30 yarders.

So I think this all ends with Greg Senat and Scottish Hammer hangin' out more.

Browns are gonna bring in the first woman to make an NFL roster as a kicker. Scouts were at Vanderbilt scouting the Fuller lady.
Marketing will go wild in jersey sales.

2pt attempt every time. Who says no?
Not me
The first time an offensive starter gets hurt on a two-point conversion, every fan and media personality will be screaming about how stupid Stefanski was for putting players at risk with the extra plays instead of taking the extra point.

Well, that wouldn’t surprise as most fan bases are morons. The extra point is a real play as well and someone can just as easy get hurt there.

Allow OBJ to take all PATs.

Go for it on reasonable 4th and shorts or deploy Scottish Hammer when in doubt. EZ wins.

Does everyone forget that the Scottish Hammer did take a field goal try lol I think we can go with the Scottish Hammer for all kicks! Who needs a kicker when ya got a hammer!

IMO, the big issue for 2 point conversations is over-exposing the goal line playbook tendencies.

For example, the Browns saved the Kendall Lamm tackle eligible play for a mid-December matchup against the eventual AFC South champ.

You don't want to use up your gems too early.

Why use up gems? Nick Chubb averages over 5 yards a carry. You take a 2 point conversion on the 2.5 yard line. Its simple math, hand the ball to Chubb 100% of the time like the same kicker takes the 1 point conversion. Mathmatically we will score every single 2 point conversion.

Prove me wrong.
