Yea I don't know how we couldn't have got a 3 team deal going to give them some great assets. Lavine is a good young player, but coming off an ACL injury...

But We've got Love for 4 years and butler only has 2 years. Butler makes us a better team but Gilbert is not giving up years of control....bottom line.

Pessimism but I also don't yet believe Wade is getting bought out of that huge contract. Midway into the season they'll realise they're better letting him wind his contract down for free or maybe even shop his expiring to see what it brings. We made this shitty bed we're now lying in

chance of being an impact player....

That info is trash from what I'm hearing and I've stated as such. When Griffin's contract wasn't retained, we shut down trade talks. I don't buy what the national media reports...

Gilbert is content with our core going into next year, and he will wait to see what LeBron does before making any massive decisions. We've missed the boat on some easy upgrades for next year, although those upgrades may not have been good for our long-term financial worth which is what Dan is primarily concerned with.
