I'm not sure I get this move from a Pacers standpoint. In fact, the only value I see is that they keep a team like Miami from signing him.

I think he's a better player than Mahimi so it does add depth. It gives Indiana another offensive option in their second unit come the Miami series which they miss badly without Hibbert on the court. Ian Mahimi is a good rebounder/defender and serviceable player but Bynum fits their pace pace of play, provides another scoring option, and understands he'll be getting 12-15 minutes a night.

I like it from Indiana's perspective. Miami is now fully in the Greg Oden basket which can't be super comfortable or them.

Hope he wins the Eastern Conference for the Pacers.

Don't really feel he deserves another ring though..

I don't even get it for that. Miami could have signed him this summer, and chose Oden. Miami had all sorts of time to get him after we cut him, and did nothing. Clearly they didn't value him all that much.

Great fit.

But I'll never wish him well after the unneeded jackassery he was causing behind the scenes here.

Was really confident that Indiana would win the title and beat Miami before this trade. Now, I'm extremely confident. Two 6'10+ centers to battle Miami's small ass PFs and Cs. Really glad they made this signing. If Bynum can just shut the fuck up and play like Indy knows he can, and realizes he can win a ring, this could be a really great signing

It's funny because now no one else can sign him. The talk before was all about him going to a like Miami to combat Roy Hibbert.

Yep, LOL. GOOD! One less thing for the Heat to attempt...

He better not torpedo the chemistry in Indy. If he causes the Het to have a free pass to the Finals imma be pissed.

“I think that’s good,” Bynum said after his orientation of light shooting and meet-and-greet with new teammates at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. “Obviously when you have the staff they have here and the legend, Larry Bird, things run correctly. It’s a lot easier to fit in here and be positive when the entire atmosphere is already that way. Obviously there are some great locker-room leaders here, and that goes a long way.”

Take that cavs. There are reports he won't workout any more either, he said his diet and playing are fine.
