Only Bynum never made it to the early January guarantee date for his full $12.5 million salary in 2013-14, and self-destructed. He stopped trying on the floor, and became a disruptive presence in practices. Before Bynum was thrown out of his final practice and suspended, he was shooting the ball every time he touched it in a practice scrimmage, sources said – from whatever remote part of the court he had caught the ball.

Lol, this guy is crazy. What's even crazier is that we brought him to Cleveland to help "change the culture" :chuckles:

What a clown.

Bynum's Final Tirade

Didn't really see a thread to put this in....so:

From what I remember from my childhood, Bynum is basically Charizard.

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

So he's obviously a scapegoat, right?

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

What a hilarious image...

Awful situation, but hilarious...

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

How any team gave this guy another chance after this incident, is amazingly mysterious.

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

Adding him to the Cavaliers was a mistake... Adding that ultra-trade friendly contract with so many teams looking to get under the luxury tax this year was a minor stroke of genius.

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

I agree with Keyes, dude was a train wreck on the court but I'm willing to forgive that because of the fact that it got us our first small forward with an actual pulse in 3 fucking years.

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

I'm almost disappointed that he DIDN'T end up banging a coach's wife.

Re: Bynum's Final Tirade

If we somehow come back and sneak in the playoffs by one game, I'll give Bynum credit for that game. He pretty much won the Bulls game for us.

A bit old, but:

Bynum finally joins Pacers in Indiana

Posted Feb 7, 2014 7:40 PM
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Andrew Bynum joined the Indiana Pacers for the first time since signing a week ago.

Bynum participated in the team's shootaround at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday morning as the Pacers prepared for their game against Portland on Friday night.
A snowstorm kept the 7-foot center from landing in Indianapolis sooner, and Pacers coach Frank Vogel expects to take "a few weeks" to get Bynum ready to play in a game.
"We'll come back from the All-Star break and see how practices go over the next week or two after that before we decide if he's ready," Vogel said. "We want to make sure he's comfortable."

Bynum played in 24 games this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers before being suspended indefinitely by the team in December.
"It's a winning atmosphere," Bynum said. "Obviously, when they have the staff that they have here and the legend Larry Bird, things run correctly. It's a lot easier to fit in here and be positive when the atmosphere is already that way."

He hasn't done much since leaving the Cavs.
"Just relaxing at home and that's it," he said.
When asked if he kept a workout routine during his time off, Bynum said, "not really."
That will make it harder to get back into game shape.
