Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

Darnell and 2012 2nd round for Redd?

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

Are you serious?

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

Well I liked that trade. :(

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

I'd still prefer the Cavs wait until closer to the deadline to see if Michael Redd becomes available.

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

how bout Ferry persuades Lebron go overseas for this season on a one year 50m contract, let Z lead the Cavs in scoring, that's an automatic last place seed resulting in a top 3 pick in 09 draft, don't make any moves at all year and spend the 37 expirings on FA's next June/July

09-10 roster:

Iverson/Delonte
DeRozan/Boobster
King/Hickson
Marion/Varajao
Illgauskus/Wallace

Yet another thread goes the cavs.com route.....

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

is Mo Williams really that relevant to waste 1,000 keystroks and 30 pages over?

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

I think Mo Willimas is a decent player, and could fill some offensive holes on the Cavs, but I'm not sold on him being the answer. He struggles defensively, and that contract is a little scary, although 8-9 mil or so a year for a player that puts up the numbers he does isn't too bad. I guess it would depend on what else the Cavs may be getting back, and what they would have to give up.

As far as Mo Willimas compared to Delonte West, if the Cavs were only going to have one of the two, I wonder which one would end up fitting the team best? Williams is the better scorer, and has some proven time in the league, but West would be a little cheaper.

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

Well, at least we won't be waiting long to find out if it's true. W&G heard if it's going to happen, it's going to happen soon. I wouldn't be opposed to getting him if we only gave up expirings, especially if we still get to keep Delonte. Maybe a deal involving Wally, and Damon?. That way, if Redd is still on the market, we could after him, with Varejao and Sasha after December 5th.

You know who, you are the man. Just when I was starting to doubt your rumor, this report comes out days later. Never again will I doubt you.

Now, what does surprise me is the change in direction for Darrell Jackson. He was all but signed, sealed, and delivered to a Euro team at the Vegas Tournament. That's when I saw his agent, and he told me that he had some nice options in place for him, and that would most likely be where he ends up this season.

Let's get the details on the contract he negotiated with the Cavs and perhaps we'll understand why. Just guaranteeing 2yrs might have been enough to get it done.

As for Mo, the way he destroys the Cavs when we play them makes him look attractive, but there's some reason Milwaukee is willing to dump him and they suck in spite of having a back court of Williams and Redd. I realize they like Ramon Sessions, but I don't think that's the whole story.

Re: Cavs After Mo Williams?

Why is OKC involved??? I bet this deal involves AV going to the Bucks and either, Charlie V, Wilcox, and/or Robert Swift coming to the Cavs. Delonte would probably be gone to Milwaukee I'd assume.

What would be going to the OKC???? This one is kind of a head scratcher.

You can say the same for Delonte.. Boston was quick to give him up.. he was benched behind Ridnour and Watson.. Hes just not in the right situation. I know stats don't tell the whole story but c'mon.. 17 and 6 is something that could really help this team reach the next level. Adding Mo to our team is a quality move.. If the Bucks asked for Andy, Sasha, and a pick.. I would hang up the phone though.. We don't need him that bad.

I know we all love to hop on Delontes d*ck but he was exremely inconsistent during the season and a turn over machine in the play offs. Mo can create his own shot.. Delonte some what can. Mo can create for others.. Delonte again.. some what can.
