. Z leaving was not the rumor Ben has. I am sure Z is leaving this summer, but honestly no one would sit on that story and call it a hot rumor.

People who respect their sources and want to maintain good standing with those sources will sit on whatever info they are asked to, regardless of whether it is perceived as "major" or as a "hot rumor" That is called journalistic integrity. Or just integrity. It's something that's sort of fallen by the wayside to some degree in the twitter newscycle.

Another thing of the past related to journalistic integrity is getting independent confirmation from a second source of info or a rumor that you are hearing.

That is why you never see Woj's timeline(or even Lloyd's) full all day of speculative tweets/opinions like you do with guys like Vecsey, Broussard or The Bullshit Whisperer. Woj, Lloyd, Amick, Spears, Aldridge, and peple who have repect for the quality of their name, their work, and their sources will wait until they have direct confirmation from a party who would know the validity to a rumor/trade/signing/firing or if they don't have direct confirmation, they'll wait until getting two different independent sources giving them the same/similar info before running it as a story or tweet.

This is why some people info is not worth getting worked up about. Guys like Vecsey, Broussard, The Bullshit Whisperer, and the majority of people you see posting on twitter as basketball insiders are easily biased, mislead, played, or just spewing out opinions to keep up and give the appearance of "being in the know"

To be honest...yes, but examining visually is different than giving medical records and he may be trying to force the cavs hand to not pick him

Not going to happen. There was the possibility Tellem might have withheld info from Milwaukee if they had the number 1 pick. A lot of that info was coming pre-lottery. It was contingent on the idea that the Celtics or Lakers could end up in the top 3. if they had, I think Tellem qwould have done his best to try and get either Embiid or Parker to fall to the Lakers or Celtics. With the Celtics at 6 and the Lakers at 7, there is no way that Tellem will not let Embiid work out for the top 3 teams, provide the previous medical records, and take new exams for the teams.

So although he's letting them examine him with their own doctors, he's sabotaging them by withholding old medical records.
