I love the idea of Jefferson. What "assets" would the Wolves be interested in?

Seriously guys, Josh Smith is a 24 year-old athletic freak of a forward who not only has tools, but converted those tools into a line of 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks last season, with great defense to boot. If you think there aren't 29 other teams in the NBA that would salivate at the thought of acquiring Josh Smith, you're on crazy pills.

i wouldnt give up Mo for only that. i'd see if anything is better. ideally, i would like Josh Smith. if we had to put in a pick or 2 to get him, so be it.

Mo/Shaq is not worth Smith. Be realistic people. Mo is worth Williams and Teague.

Marvin Williams is a guy who needs a change. Hes only 24.

Marvin Williams huh...

I'd only go after him if we can get him super cheap. The guy was pretty awful in the playoffs this year, and he didn't even score double digit points once vs Orlando...even after starting every single game.

Presuming this is Mo and Shaq going to the Hawks, we still have the trade exception and expirings(Parker and Moon) to acquire our PG. More than likely a cheap young PG paired with a burdensome contract(Collison and Okafor), (Chandler and Augustin), etc.

Why no to Marvin Williams? A lot of talent. Stuck behind similar players in ATL. Young. Not an overbearing contract, especially in light of some of the deals signed this offseason. He has underacheived for sure but fits the profile that Amick said we were looking for.

No to Marvin Williams. I wouldn't mind both Josh's on this team though.
