I don't like Jamison for a lot of reasons. I really don't care about getting him. If that was all that was there, of course I'd trade him just for Wally. Jamison is better.
Jamison has a lot of nagging injuries. He could easily be the new Larry Hughes. At least health wise. He has bad knees, I believe?
This guy might even make Drew Gooden look good on defense. Saying he's bad on defense is being kind. I also don't like that he can't play the 2 guard position, which we'd be forced to play him a lot at the 4, which would not boat well for us.
Forget Jamison, he'd really not help much at all. He'd give a little more scoring on the perimeter, we don't really need that.
He'd just be a lateral move, really. No one can honestly convince me, Jamison is what is keeping us from a title. Really, if you break it all down. Wally can pretty much give you what Jamison does, to a lesser degree certainly. But everything Jamison can do outside rebounding, is basically what Wally can do.
Shooting is not something we lack, so it's a moot point. The only real plus he'd bring is depth, over Wally. If someone went out with a serious injury, Jamison is a better bet than Wally, obviously. That's probably the only reason I would do the deal. But with everyone healthy, it's really not that much of a difference.
