I just heard this on my sattelite radio. The trade would send Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, our 1st Round Pick, and A.V. to Milwaukee for Charlie V., Michael Redd, and a player to be named. Apparently, the Cavs and Bucks have been discussing this since last week. Did anybody else hear this besides me? What are your thoughts on this if true?

I like deal alot, delonte still on team and coming off bench, LOVE CHARLIE. And redd is on team one yr with his expiring contract with the possibility of still getting bosh in 2010. But doesnt make sense for bucks. Call Cavs Cleveland Bucks.

Unlikely of happenig

Hmm i'm not really completely sure what to think. On one hand if Redd can come back and be completely healthy it is good, but if not it is bad. CV is a dream for us really, but we lose AV. And the final piece would have to be someone around 6 million dollars in salary. My guess is Gadzuric, my dream is Bogut.

In a second.... but will never happen! This would also leave us with the MLE to sign someone like Wallace at the F/C position.

Mo / West
Redd / West / Gibson
James / FA or Pick
Charlie V / JJ
Z / Wallace

Honestly though, I would actually much prefer getting Jefferson over Redd.

I smell B.S.

Who? From me, or Sirius? I have no reason to lie, man. I'm a die-hard and I don't report BS. I just wanted to see if anyone else heard it. It was on Sirius about 40 minutes ago.

I also saw that another poster on CavFanatic also heard it, so I know I'm not crazy! LMAO! I just got home from Akron (I live in Toledo), and I rushed to my computer to see if anybody else caught that. I'm glad at least one more person did (on a different site at least).

i think that's a pretty good deal for us. redd never relied on athleticism, so his coming back from injury doesn't concern me too much. and look, we need to start realizing that the MAJORITY of teams are going to be making MONEY, not basketball, moves this off-season. windy says it time and again and just because a lot of teams tried to close their eyes at the trade deadline and wish themselves into the playoffs (hello, suns!), doesn't mean that they don't have to face the cold, hard facts this summer. they were facing the inevitable. and for all the public talk people like kerr make about basketball moves, saving money is the absolute priority for the vast majority of the nba. but, thankfully not us!

You know what, I probably would too. At least we know he can stay healthy (more so than Redd). But if Redd can stay away from the injury bug, he'd give us a serious 1-2 punch in the shooting department (with him and Mo on the floor at the same time).

No man, not from you. Sorry. I meant Sirius. Unless it was from ESPN Radio (even then it's probably not THAT credible), I wouldn't trust those stations.

We need an W&G to post something to let us know whats going on.

What station/show was it on sirius?

I'm not sure how I feel about this, didn't Mo and Redd not work that well together in Milwaukee? And, I might be the biggest fan of Charlie V. on the board, but that leaves us with a very defensively weak front court.

There is probably nothing to report. Yes, Cleveland is talking to teams we all know that. Nothing will happen until draft day at the earliest.

Wasn't there a deal on the table at the deadline ... RJ for Wally? I realize his salary was part of the reason we didn't take the trade, but still ...

can they even really be talking about Charlie V and AV, since neither is under contract? And would AV agree to go to Milwaukee...I guess if he got paid, but still?!
